Just come back from a Sun Holiday in Hayle Cornwall. It rained most of the time. But still had a lovely break. The site is a John Fowler Park and I must make mention of the really nice staff who where so helpful. Would definately recommend.:T

We love the SUN holidays and have stayed @

    Twitchen House in Woolacombe
    Bideford Bay
Devon Cliffs in a few weeks!
La Croix Du Vieux Pont ( one hour away from Disnelyland paris) twice ( and going again in Oct half term!)

definitely worth doing for us,as we can only holiday in school holidays,so huuuuge savings to be made :D

Saved £300+ one time we went to France !
I'm considering La Croix Du Vieux Pont this year.

Just wondering what type of accomodation did you stay in, tent, caravan, chalet, other???

Also how did you travel there?

I've got a 2 and 4 year old and it would be their first time abroad and was thinking of driving.

    Thanks
  • Hi, I know this is really cheeky but we were actually away on a Sun 9.50 holiday last week (Pontins Brean sands - very clean but activities have height restrictions so had to go off site with toddler) and we missed the first weeks codes. If anyone has collected from day 1 could they please just post the words on here as most days the shops ran out of the sun before we got out of bed (late night cabaret was good). I've got them from the 10th.
    Thanks:T
  • Park Dean Pendine Sands is just lovely, really recommend it. Nice quiet area, good for a family, and every single person was so nice!

Thats interesting because we came back from Parkdean Trecco Bay last Friday and feel like South Wales is some kind of hidden secret from us Bristolians! It was the second time we've been but did lots more this time and loved it there. The beaches are fab and hardly anyone on them. Will have a look at Pendine Sands now.

I live about 10 mins from there, and you tend not to appreciate the area when you live there!

we do have some lush beaches etc here though, and I am from Pembrokeshire so also love West Wales too :)

Pendine is around 1.5 hours away from Trecco / Porthcawl
