Remember that very few of these claims ever get to court, so in all likelihood you won't need a hearing, as Edinburghglass said!Littlewoods catalogue - won back charges of £300 by default.

My bank are insisting on sending 6 years worth of statements for each account. This will take a lifetime to filter through. Are they not obliged to provide a summary of penalties?

Make sure you ask for all available transactions and charges, as they'll try to say it took 2 people to intervene manually on your account every time they accepted/refused a transaction, and you therefore want them to show you where it says so on your file (they won't be able to)
Good luck.

Does the fact that I haven't yet paid this make any difference to the principle of unfair charges that this site is promoting or do I have to pay it first & then claim it back? Incidentally A&L claim that as they haven't been told by the OFT(or whoever it is) they won't entertain any waiving of these fees, has anybody else been in this situation, as I think that I have heard here that A&L have refunded some people?
Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated as they are threatening me with allsorts of grief if I don't cough up,thanks0 -

Hi there, help would be appreciated for the following.
I have recently involved started court proceeding's against Lloyds TSB on behalf of my wife. Charges totally nearly £1300-00 with interest and court payment, anyway, I shall get to the point. It had been about 20 or so days since I went on line and filled the court details in, I have just receieved within the last day or so a letter from the court saying that Llyods have submitted a defence, and an extra bundle of paperwork has been applied. My question is this...........Do i need to fill this in and send it back? Starting to worry a little now as it seems so very formal, this will not put me off my intention of reclaiming everything that is rightfully ours.
Many thanks for any help given.0 -

Do you mean the court allocation questionnaire? The same thing happened with me, defence on day 28 against Lloyds TSB. Returned questionnaire with £100 cheque, which has now cleared. Waiting.0
