My bank manager just rang to ask if I wanted him to increase my overdraft because he noticed I had gone overdrawn recently. I thought this was good of Lloyds! So I now have £200. Not that I plan on using it..
My room is looking slightly clearer now that I have taken the Christmas presents out, and my bags of books. The presents are going round OH's for safe-keeping, and I have realised that I have no time to read while I am at uni so the books are going home.
I took some chicken out of the freezer last night, because my Dad gave me some spices he bought back from Morocco. And now my loser OH has said he's going to a gig tonight so that's tea out the window. I can't eat all the chicken myself! Unless I freeze the rest.. I planned on frying some onions with the spice, and cumin and coriander seeds and whatnot, then adding the chicken. I reckon that'd freeze alright. Glad the room is looking cleaner.
Make sure you be careful with tha overdraft, they can be dangerous!0 -
Don't worry Wendz, I'll be careful!
I have just done an Abel & Cole offer though. I've ordered:
Week One - Organic fruit and veg box, lamb and mint burgers.
Week Two - Organic fruit and veg box, thick cut bacon and double cream.
Week Three - Organic fruit and veg box, pork sausages.
Week Four - Organic fruit and veg box, pork and apple burgers.
All that comes to £61.14. But with the £50 worth of free food, I'll only have spent £11.14 for tons of food! Just in time for Christmas too. So I'm pleased with that.
Not got massively far with my list tonight..Thai green curry for tea!

Simon Amstell was only alright last night which was a teeny bit disappointing. But the support act was good! And we're seeing Ed Byrne on Tuesday so that should be good.
My veg box was delivered really early this morning and I was so excited! OH says I'm sad but I don't care.I had:
- 5 apples
- 4 oranges
- 4 carrots
- a load of shallots
- 1 small pumpkin
- a big head of broccoli
- 3 baking potatoes
- 3 bananas.
I'm glad I went for the smaller box in the end! So my veg box has motivated me to stick to the diet.
But it's my Mum's birthday today so we are having curry and birthday cake which is a bit of a downfall but I can't avoid it!
Money
I have £9 in my purse. And my account is -£26.90 overdrawn. It would have been less but the cost of the veg box comes out today. But it will be worth it in the end when I get my free £50 of stuff.
I think I am paying for the curry tonight so that will be about £30. Then the £9 in my purse is to last until Friday.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I am very pleased with the bargains I got today.
2 Gillette sets for £6.50 instead of £26 so that's 2 more Christmas presents sorted!
And in M&S I got 4 bottles of Cava, and 2 bottles of Bucks Fizz for £18.50 instead of £37.94.
I might give some Cava for Christmas presents, as something extra for the family to drink.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I have £20 in my purse but I'm about -£60 overdrawn because I got £20 petrol and had to take £30 cash out for the curry (which was gorgeous!)
It's the Boots event tonight so I'm trying to persuade my Mum to do her Boots shopping today. And OH wants some of the Gillette sets I got yesterday so hopefully I can find some more.

Sounds like you have been getting some good bagains. Those veg boxes are good sounds like you get a lot with them.0

Yeah the veg boxes are good! I'm glad I decided to do the offer.
Well at this current moment I feel exhausted and my foot is killing me. It feels like it's permanently got cramp, and it's really sore. And my back hurts. And I'm very annoyed with Tesco.
Tesco
I bought £10 of top-up for my brother, because I had already paid for it because I doubled up my clubcard vouchers so I wouldn't need to use cash. He is being a nightmare at the mo and doesn't deserve credit but it runs out in a couple of days. At the till there was a bit of trouble with some other coupons so the CA voided them all then put them through again. But she put £10 credit on again. I didn't notice until I got to the car so I went back in.
Customer Service were like there's nothing we can do because you used an E-top up card, you'll have to dig out the booklets you get with the phone, ring the Tesco helpline and see if they can refund the credit. Even though it wasn't my fault! That's some quality customer service.
Boots
Boots Point Event tonight, yay! I spent a whopping £1, on a R&M makeup brush, which cost £6 but I used one of my £5 off vouchers. My Mum spent £128 and very kindly split it into two lots and let me have the extra 1000 points.I'm pleased that I didn't spend anything unnecessarily.
The CA told us that on the next Points Event when you spend £50 you get 1700 points instead of 1200 so that's good if my Mum or sister needs more stuff.
Other Spending
I bought three more jars from ASDA (total £3) so that is that sorted for my chocolate presents at Christmas. Will just need to make some truffles/brownies nearer Christmas.
Payday!
I got paid the usual £220. But because I was £100 overdrawn I've ended up with less. I paid £25 off Dad's debt, which is a frustratingly small amount but nice to edit my sig nonetheless!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Today has been emotionally draining. We were told in uni that a girl on our course was found dead yesterday. There were no suspicious circumstances but we're all obviously shocked. I spoke to her quite a few times and I'm upset even though I didn't know her well.
Decided that tonight I'm gonna do a DooYoo review, have a clear out of my toiletries/cosmetics then go to bed and maybe read a magazine. OH came round and tidied my room for me, and now he's gone to the pub.
Tomorrow I'm getting on with my uni work really. I also need to cook a lamb stew. And I might write another DooYoo review.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21
