cbrpaul - Ours is due to complete on the 30th, I was told today that my 1st payment would be 1 full calendar month after this date then I can change it.

We have made an extra payment to our current lender though (YBS) as we paid an installment after the redemption figure went out. I was told that this would be reimbursed on the day of completion in full.

Because my redemption fee on previous mortgage is over £3k :o our date has also changed to 30th now whilst money clears. that said on monthly interest it makes it the ideal date to pay the monthly amount I guess
