Printer cartridges go back to the manufacturer... I got them to choose the homeworking printers specifically because they include a returns envelope for the old cartridge in with each new one!
However, if you can use the milk bottle tops and stamps, I'm happy to start collecting them for you (although I don't have many of either).
Pretty much everything is cleanish and tidyish now, ready for tne new week. Desk is clear, but in tray is groaning. I have a day off on Tuesday, so have a feeling it'll have to be spent doing paperwork0 -
The bloomin row on depression support is rumbling on. I've now been accused of recruiting a mob from here. Total rubbish, which I've explained! I'm fed up with arguing. Monday's list DONE!
Been doing lots of laundry this weekend but not much else, had a luxurious soak in the bath after lunch and popped out to pick up something to put with spaghetti and veggie meat-free meatballs for dinner, resisted buying a takeaway so I feel quite virtuous lol.
This week is going to be a strain but I will not let it. Hubby is having a full colonoscopy on thurs lunchtime so the week will be building up to that, with a special diet followed by a liquid fast on Wed and thurs. I think we ought to plan something really nice for dinner on thursday night, if he knows what day it is after being sedated! Poor thing he has recently been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, and had a 'wasted' month of being on steroids, now he's been weaned back off them he is back to square one and ill again. They will give him nothing until the results from the colonoscopy are back. I'm hoping they get his meds right first time cos this has been a miserable year for him so far.
hugs to all

Frodders you should be ashamed of not knowing who Joyce Grenfall is. She is an icon! Brilliant character actress!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Sounds like a valid decision to me Rose. Don't let yourself get sucked in, it isn't going to help you at all. Stay here where people are lovely - although after the 'secret tip off' PMing re candlegate and the depression thread I have my reservations  .
My mum is a huge fan of Joyce G, for me she is an icon.

Froddington - as a teacher you must listen to Joyce Grenfell! Try this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oom2EPuNPv8
It is whom my adored cat 'George, don't do that' is named for.
Hmm, well I'm definitely not that posh (or that thin!!). I could try it with my class tomorrow but can just imagine the scenario - 5 of them would sit there looking at me very strangely, one would tell me to stop being silly, one would walk out the room, one would be spinning, one wandering around the room, and one standing right in front of me staring at me and possibly pulling my hairMight stick to my normal routine!!
greenbee - stamps and milk bottle lids gratefully recieved. Nobody has very many, but it all adds up. All goes towards the fuel costs for Naomi House Children's Hospice - used my many of the children I teach / have taught.
rosepink - stay away! It's not worth the distress and aggro"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Ohhh, we're a mob!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: We've stayed here, how can they blame us?Stay away for a while rose, there's no point you getting upset with it, I just hope no-one else is affected and gets upset - of all the places to do something like that, how ridiculous. Hang tough love x

I've finally managed to get the computer back!
In my HHC (which finished an hour ago) I:
Checked on washing on the line but decided to leave it out a bit longer - must go and fetch it in now though.
Emptied and reloaded WM
Loaded TD
Washed dishes
Put boiled eggs on cooker ready for egg-rolling tomorrow
That was about it I think. Since then I've listened to both kids read and packed them off to bed!
