I am not too sure why people are so negative on these boards, maybe angry little people? Why complain when you can get a meal for 2 out - and if you just drink tap water or water with cordial will cost you £15 or less??!!!

We aren't in Italy so Italian restuarants cater for what the British expect and want - even the so called "authentic" independant restuarants. Spaghetti Bolognese is not even an Italian dish but more like the !!!!!!!ised Indian dish chicken tikka masala!!!

The probably reason why there aren't Indian, Chinese or Mexican vouchers is because there are not chains of them across Britain in every town. Try growing a brain or picking up some common sense eh??

There are Spanish and Tapas offers on but IMHO these offer even worse value than some of the Italian offers.

We think that Prezzo is the best of the Italian chains - have tried them all - Ask, Pizza Express, Bella Italia and Zizzi.

Your comments are mainly constructive, but why spoil them by calling people Trolls and advising them to grow a brain. There is no need to be rude just keep to the point and state whether you like the restaurants or not. You should realise that with chains, they vary enormously according to the management, staff and also if it is the chef's night off!

Also voucher codes has vouchers for a £10 meal: starter, main meal and a drink although it is a limited menu.

Present vouchers expire on Wednesday. Anyone know if there are any for Thursday onward yet?

We went with a couple of friends to the Prezzo at Centertainment, Sheffield, fully equipped with vouchers of course. The meal was pretty shoddy to be honest and although the place was rather empty (it was a thursday night) they took over half an hour to seat us at a table. Or offer us a drink.

When we presented the voucher (admittedly we did it the wrong way round and presented it after we had eaten) the waitress refused to honor the deal stating "The voucher needs to be shown before ordering" as it happens our voucher contained no such line on it so we argued for around 5 mins before she eventually agreed to accept the voucher. Other vouchers I am aware do state something to the effect of "this voucher must be presented before ordering" but as a word of caution to people, do always check BEFORE ordering unlike us!

We won't be going back to a Prezzo even if its 3 for 1. Well 3 for 1 maybe, lets not be too hastey

I have found Prezzo to be the best of the Italian chains, we were at Prezzo in Amersham earlier in the month and despite being busy the service and food was outstanding, honestly couldn't fault it. I've found this level and service in Reading and Amersham and am sorry for anyone who's not had a perfect experience.

Dishes we have tried there are prawns in spicy sauce, ministrone soup, garlic bread and for mains calazone, various pasta dishes - all amazing..

Love Prezzo. :rotfl: Visited Winchester one this week.
Great food (goats cheese with caramelised onions and balsamic in Arrosto, to die for) and super service.
*** BEWARE though - you need to have a separate voucher FOR EACH PERSON. ***
