Moggins I don't know the law on these things, but surely with young children in the house, you can put off giving him his share til they've left school? Or maybe before that, if you decide to sell? I'm sure there's a law about this type of thing......

Good morning all. It's beautiful and sunny here today.Chilly though.
I'm rather tired this morning, had a late night as we had to take my grand-daughter to meet her bus for her field trip to France.Trouble is we got there for the appointed time as did everyone else but the bus did'nt come till an hour later. No one thought to tell anyone else the time had been changed.
I'm going to pick up my prescription and then do some baking today. It's my monthly trip to Manchester to see our daughter this weekend and she likes her home baking.I keep telling her she can do it for herself but she remains unconvinced and won't even try.I suppose that's what mum's are for though.
I hope everyone has a good day and we all manage to achieve something good out of it.
(((hugs))) to all that need them.
    Take care .........

Moilere - Good luck hope all goes well with your trip, will look forward to readng about 'your life in France'.

Last night I did a financial forecast and things are going to be a bit tight until the City Council sort out our HB and CT. Will be eating a lot of eggs and pasta me thinks.........bulking cheapie meat out with beans, mind you I have several jars of dried beans from the allotment, so thats ok and we are just coming into the growing season.......

    Today is hospital day.........

I have stewing beef and a gammon joint to cook this morning before we go out, so as OH has just wandered through I will be having a shower, getting dressed and getting my apron on.

I am a bit stiff after yesterdays efforts at the allotment, thankfully there is only one bed left to just fork over ,weed and cover with HM compost then I can start planting, spuds at the end of this month.

    Time for my second coffee................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    morning all!
a flying visit as I'm off out soon for coffee with my friend Lesley's daughter who is pregnant and missing her mum a lot. Then I'm off out to a house warming of another friend. This afternoon I need to do some baking - lemon drizzle cake for some friends.

DH had to come home from work as his sciatica has finally got the better of him and he's now in bed with the TENS machine on again.

    Happy Birthday Essex- Girl

Mioliere - hope the move goes to plan!

Tru - glad your Dad's ok after his op.

PP - hope you're feeling better today x

    I've been Money Tipped!
Moggins - hugs, and try and be strong. If you can get half hour free advice with solicitor (and lots and lots do) then they will tell you that your ex has less rights than he thinks. The normal way is that he cannot force sale of the house while the children of the marriage are under 18. I hope you are mentioning CSA with sickening frequency. Also insisting that he cares for the children - you need a break and he needs to 'maintain the relationship' or give you a break but never give him a clue that you benefit. It is surprising how suggesting limiting contact can sometimes result in you getting an afternoon to yourself.

Fairy Elephant - still lots of hugs. I am thinking of you.

Meanmarie - a stroke can affect personality. Sunnygirl may also like to look out for this, as the brain may not be functioning the same way. My darling father had a major, life threatening stroke in 1990 and currently in his 70s has two girlfriends on the go :shhh::naughty: and is a mainstay of the local golf club, especially the bar! He has his moments, and he also has mini strokes which are scary, but he is doing pretty well. I hope the account of my darling father gives you a bit of hope. Also, just because he is poorly does not mean that you should treat bad behaviour as anything other than bad behaviour.

I am not sure why I am posting today - no OS, ache where tooth used to be, advanced case of sniffles, little bear has a cough, acute case of self pity...

    Hugs to all.
Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!
