Happy Hump Day! *waves to f_f*

So I am £2 away from my OD limit and it's hit me in smack between the eyesas to how seriously skint I am. I've no income due until I return to work and then I have to wait four weeks for payday to rock up.

Went to the supermarket with £20 cash to get essentials and I spent just over £17 and no treats which was really hard as I really really wanted to get a massive bag of crisps to devour once the Gosling had gone night nights. I resisted. How strong am I??? I forgot to use my money off coupons AGAIN. Also, I got another money off voucher however its an evoucher that you need to print off and guess what? We've no printer! *screams*

I've also discovered a new diet and basically it's sharing each meal with the Gosling! The greedy little tyke virtually ate my whole entire meal!! Great in one respect but now I am starving and there is nothing to snack on.

I'm loving the idea of making a list of foodstuffs and I think that will be a great help. Will do the same with the freezer also.

MrGG and I have had a rough couple of days, I'm feeling the pressure of being skint and he's got his head in the clouds talking about holidays next year. There won't be any holidays next year or the year after. We don't have that kind of cash and if we did have it sitting spare then it would be going towards a CC not on a treat. Don't get me wrong I'd love a getaway yet holidays are not going to be the same anymore anyhoo's as the Gosling has changed the dynanmics of all our holidays from now on, so somehow I don't think MrGG will be enjoying sitting round the pool like he used to, more like be trapsing round behind the Gosling whilst he runs riot!

MrGG is a dreamer. It is lovely to sit and talk about what we would do if we won the lottery sometimes I can't help but burst the bubble and bring us both back to earth back to reality. I know it's a touch mean but dreaming doesn't get us anywhere. It was living the dream that got us in this pickle.

We really need to spend some time together and get back to being a team. We had a chat yesterday and I think we are getting back on the right track. I am feeling a bit stressed as going back to work is playing on my mind a lot, which I think is normal for any first time mum returning to work.

I shall also be insurance shopping when my renewals come around. Man I hate insurance renewals. It's a real chore but if it can make me money then I'll give it a go. I'd be mad not too.

OOhh newsflash! Amanda Holden is pregnant again. Lovely stuff. So happy for her.

    Til the next installment..................

Friday night in the Golden Goose household. Gosling finally asleep despite his protests and MrGG working hard so I am home alone. I do like a night at home by myself to surf the net in peace without being moaned at to "get off that laptop"! What is it with fella's they moan when you don't use technology and then when you do...........;) Perhaps its my timing! :D

f_f thank you for the offer but its for Asda and you need to fill in lots of details and its only for the grand sum of 28p so don't worry. *realises this is why I never save any cash :rotfl:*

I'm starving and there is nothing in the house to eat. We are even out of booze. Desperate times debt busters, desperate times. ;)

I've got a few outgoings due and MrGG is going to cough up the cash which is handy. One outgoing is for grub for our four legged pals who'll be a tad unimpressed if I try to introduce a starvation diet. No matter how tempting it would be I really mustn't as we'd save a fortune.

Pets are expensive. Lovely and cuddly and rewarding in a fuzzy feeling way but they cost. I'd love another dawg but we can't afford it or justify it so that is that. End of.

We need to do a big shop as we are running low or are completely out of bits and pieces. Anyone know what I can do with Berlotti Beans???? I have a tin lurking in my cupboard and I want to use them but know not how!

In other money saving news, I've decided to not take my annual leave entitlement but get paid for it. So I'll have some wonga winging its way to me once I return to [STRIKE]hell[/STRIKE] work.

Does anyone know if that DF'er ever came back to finish her diary, think her name was something like Single City something? In fact I think the name is completely wrong but she was a young girl about town working in the big smoke and then all of a sudden she stopped posting in her diary. Gutted that I can't remember her name or her diary name. For some reason I am thinking she was from Essex?

Hope you all have a marvellous weekend and manage to abstain from those Bank Holiday Bargains that will be twinkling at you all from every angle screaming "Buy Me, You Want Me, You Have To Have Me..... and Look I'm Reduced!" Me? Well I'll be spending as little as possible. Honest. Cross my heart.

    Til the next installment..........

Do you do surveys? its a productive way of being online ..... F_F as always is the shining example of that.....plus am sure i saw that she was being screened out due to the lack of offspring.....

theres something about daily clicks too.....time consuming but it all adds up

am very impressed though that you only spent £17 of the £20....I'm sure I would have broken....

Another visit to the supermarket with £20 in my paw, or should that be webbed feet? Spent £17 odd again, which means that the Gosling is pretty much catered for and me and MrGG will be scraping toghether what we can out of the cupboard and freezer. I did indulge in some bargaintastic pizza. Be rude not to. What Goose wouldn't love a pizza?

Does anyone else's OH drive them insane with money wastage? Flipping MrGG has spent out on a diary and has filled it in and has now decided that the one he got doesn't work, so instead of making do, he's gone and bought another one. *head desk*

Today I bought some trousers for work and they were a bargain at £12.99. I heart H&M. Due to being [STRIKE]poor[/STRIKE] frugal I no longer have a work wardrobe and a seperate loads of clothes for going out and not working, I have decided that the two must blend. I am SUCH a genius. Bow down at my intelligence oh fellow DFW's. :rotfl: The sad thing is that it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that out. Though perhaps it might take a skint brain surgeon to do so!!

MrGG is out tonight and so I'm watching TV whilst surfing.

Lurker I used to do daily clicks when I was working and had internet access as it was really easy but now its not so easy and I know this is really defeatist but its a lot of effort for not a lot of return. Time is precious with a little person about. I could be lured back to surveys. I did have some success with Valued Opinions so perhaps I could try them again.

Night night peeps, may you all win the lotto this week.

I tried on my going back to work clothes today and I've now decided that most of them don't fit or look nice. Trust me I've not spent loads or got loads of new stuff. I went for the "key pieces" look. Trying to be cost efficient and clever with my money and wardrobe. Typically my post baby body ain't great and my pre baby clothes don't fit the same and there is no way I am wearing those when I go back to work. Looks like I'll be making a mad dash back to the shops and getting refunds and then try to replace those items. I so am not looking forward to clothes shopping with baby in tow. Needs must I suppose.

I didn't spend any money today. MrGG gave me £20 to do with what I please and likelihood is that it will go on diesel or new work clothes. I seem to have so many things that the £20 could be put towards its untrue.

Feeling a bit guilty as there is clean laundry to be put away yet here I am surfing. The laundry is not going to put itself away and it will still be there tomorrow.

In moneysaving news I've signed up for childcare vouchers so that will save me some cash on NI and Tax. *pats self on back* Now to remind MrGG for the thousandth time to do the same.

Just a brief one from me today.

Hope everyone is doing well...... nearly the weekend!
