    Today's Installment

    Happy Friday DebtBusters.

What a miserable grey day. Sposed to be like this all day too.

Yesterday's interview went well I felt, though they were running behind and I was kept waiting for nearly an hour. Managed to put that to good use and read the company annual report. Bonus. Gave me some further insight and possible responses to questions. Case of waiting to hear if I progress to the next stage. Fingers crossed, esp as have nothing else going on, and as SH says, it could take a month at least to get to this stage again!

I was in the car this morning heading over to horseland as you do. Mr GG was also leaving to head off to work. He wanted to stick his head in the window to give me a kiss, well don't ask me how I managed it, but I stuck his head in the window, nearly chopping it right off! Electric windows are downright dangerous. Naturally I did chuckle about it a lot, and even typing it now I am killing myself laughing. Mr GG called (I think to check up on me and the housework situation) to tell me that his jaw hurt. To which I repsonded with another fit of the giggles. You should have sooo seen it. As soon as the window was going down, it was going up again, then down, and then up. Something off the Benny Hill Show.

Spent £2 yesterday. Didnt really have to. I was trying to fill time and my tummy before the interview so whizzed into the local M&S Food (hmmmmmm) and tucked into a meal deal for £2. Not bad value for a sarnie, crisps and drink from them. I selected my sandwich carefully, avoided fish and not nice being interviewed and the interviewer getting a severe cloud of salmon waft everytime you open your mouth. Also avoiding throwing it all down one's suit was also a bit of challenge I must say.

Think it may have stopped raining?!! Will it stay that way for long? Doubt it.

Have walked the dog today already. One more walk to fit in later and that is the dog done and dusted.

Been to the supermarket already today and spent just shy of £15 on some essesntials plus a few baking items, so as to build up the store cupboard (things like raisins, chocolate drops, lemons, coconut) as there were a few recipes I fancied doing earlier in the week but didnt have all the stuff. I do enjoy whipping up biscuits and cookies. Though if my previous efforts are anything to go by, it tends to be the kitchen ends up covered in whisked butter and sugar, as the stuff goes everywhere!!!

No more spending for me today. Tomorrow is another matter as out on the town but shall try and keep that to a minimum really.... then Sunday shall be spend relaxing and kicking back. Hope to meet a friend to walk dogs together, always nice to have a good gas and gossip.

Well that is all from me, my dear diary readers and followers.

Don't forget that just cos its Friday and you are excited about the four day week and the weekend ahead that its any reason to go spending crazy. Its not even the middle of the month yet. Most of your debts probably are still due to come hot footing it out of your account. Best wait til the end of the month to see what you have left and whether you can chuck it at your debt or treat yourself. The. Decision. Is. Yours. *said in the tone of that dodgy game show commentator when announcing the prizes!!!*

    LOL!!

    Til the next installment........

    Hi there,
have just read your diary page for page, think it started as a reason to put off the housework but is completely addictive so I may try & do that subscribing thing (am techo-noob despite living with techo-geek)
It sounds as if we are in a similar situation so I can only hope to keep as upbeat as you are (even when you say you're down you sound very chirpy to me)

Good luck with finding your golden egg

HI GG glad you felt this interview went better. I think the meal deal was a good idea - particularly since you were then kept waiting for an hour anyway. Hope you hear soon!
