Thanks for the chocolate cake recipe, Thriftlady. My little boy's birthday is soon and one of his best friends is allergic to eggs, and he look so sorry for himself at a party last week when he asked hopefully if the cake didn't have eggs in it. I'm determined that he'll be able to share in my son's birthday cake.

I need to make cakes for 15 people to have with lunch tomorrow. I stupidly only bought 6 eggs which have been used for sponge cake.

Any ideas what else I can bake without eggs? I'm going shopping first thing tomorrow but would have liked to bake now.
