Hi lurker - originally I was told it was 3 then it became 4 and then it became 5 - I would understand but at the moment they have eliminated all the other candidates - unless they find more from somewhere!
Anyway - bought a new interview top today plus a spare! 2 interviews in the same top is one thing 5 visits and the same top could be pushing it lol!
My sandals from last year broke yesterday so I might have also bought a replacement pair plus some gorgeous interview style shoes in the sale.....
Total spend - just less than what I got for my old banger this morning!:rotfl:Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Wow your interviews are seriously scary sounding!! 5 stages!! I couldn't cope with that!
I think the new bits are perfectly acceptable spending!

Hi!
Sometimes these spends are necessary and like you say it has come in less than your car payment! Don't think I could ever do a five stage interview, I find one enough

sounds like good spending to me - 5 interviews in one top is pushing the boundaries a little...plus am sure you'll get the wear out of it...and the shoes!
Its true what ShelleyC says about feeling confident - i felt the difference last week, & it paid off
my fingers & toes are crossed that they stop adding more stages & just offer you the job!I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0 -
Thanks lurker
Well interview thing is tomorrow - now no longer with tour and at a completely different location. The interviewer asked me what the arrangements were.... hmmmmmm
LOL
Anyway have been researching the topic I am supposed to ask him about so I sound knowledgeable! - still plenty more prep to do!
About to go and babysit for an hour or so for 7 kids!!!! I must be mad!
Today I got our wheels aligned - using a voucher that came in the post today - was chuffed about that - saved me £12.50!
Unfortunately I also took no 1 son out shopping with me and we have bought him a rucksack for school and a sports bag and some leisure shoes - his last rucksack was ripped wide open and his shoes are from last sept bless so he did need them. Luckily I got them from Sports Direct so they were about 70% off - good thing since he chose No Fear and Airwalk stuff!!
Hope everyone else is okayAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
