I get really annoyed too! It was at the bottom of a box that OH had already looked thro:rolleyes:

Well today I have planted up 2 baskets and a couple of pots ready for when my sister gets married - in the colours of her bouquet no less... now just need to deliver them!

DS had his last day at primary school today - came home with his shirt signed. Also went to a leaver's assembly for him... Been a busy week!

hi guys - old car being picked up Monday in exchange for a whole £85!

Had a nice day today - went and saw my sis - dropped off the plants - she was chuffed to bits. DD tried bridesmaid dress and shoes on too and looked gorgeous! DD lost one of her front teeth during the night - sis not that pleased as won't look so good on the photos! oh well. Had a nice meal out too. Went and saw MIl on the way back as traffic was horrendous and it was on the way.

Got another £5 from bp today plus about 40p on free daily scratchcards.

Nothing else really happening.... Hope all my readers are having a good one!

Well I have successfully transferred £5K for 6 months to a 0% rate as previous 0% expired... at a cost of £62.50 :money:as I had previously threatened to close the account. Woohoo!

We have also recently transferred £2K for 6 months to a 0% at a cost of £50! :j

Still need a home for £3K - may try Egg - unfortunately it means all our 0% deals likely to expire at the same time!

Rest of money either on 0% or 3.45% for life of balance :j

Unfortunately our min payments set to change from £165 per month to about £390! As the card that had £10K on had a min payment of only £25 and that is the one where the 0% just expired! In theory it brings our DFD forward from about 8 or 9 years to about 3 and a bit (excluding car) - however in reality if I don't get a job within the next 6 months we will start to be in trouble - and would probably get back to robbing peter to pay paul! Have to stay positive and trust that it won't come to that! Obviously the min payments will come down over time too so may not be too bad!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Might be worth starting to make "what if" budget scenarios based on different incomes over the coming months, then even the worst case scenario won't be such a shock or a horror if it arrives.

Hopefully eveything will be fine, and you won't need to worry about it, but best to be prepared.

hi hypno - I think basically if I don't have a job by sept/oct I will just have to either a) accept a job in my industry at lower money or b) do a shop job or something in the evening while I continue to look for work

Hope you do find a job soon. Aren't you still in the middle of one of your multi stage interview processes? Can I ask what you do as all the interviews sound protracted and scary

Have you explored the mystery shopping / survey / dooyoo stuff? I openly acknowledge I couldn't do the reviews but like the idea of some MS especially coffee based ones :rotfl:

hi shelley I'm at stage 3 of 5 of an interview process currently! I've sent you a pm....

Well just got £85 for my old car - very sad but there we go - finally in my pocket!

We are going to Gretna Green Thursday (don't worry we are not eloping!) and then on into Scotland for a few days which should be fun!

    Hope everyone else okay?
