Hope the drink was of the non-alcoholic variety
Thanks Swinstie - yeah we are talking about a can of sprite here! I got 12 cans for the price of 6 the other day from Mr Ts so I thought that would be good for lunch. I find I don't drink enough during the day otherwise.....
I get paid Friday - including my bonus - can't wait :j I also bit the bullet and queried my boss on the bonus amount and like Oliver asked for more LOL:money: I can but try!!! :rotfl:
On the debt busting front it is frustrating as normally I try to pay off / stooze at least £1K a month but this month because I need to try and make my pay last as long as possible I will only be able to pay off :wall: £205 . I know I should be grateful :rolleyes2 that we can still meet our minimum repayments but I so wanted to just blast thro the debt as quick as poss and then make a start on repaying our "interest only" mortgage.... Somewhere there is a student loan out there as well waiting to rear its ugly head - they have never asked OH for £ and since we are curently prioritising our CCs we have never contacted them!

I must admit I have been naughty tonight... Even tho I have an interview tomorrow or perhaps because I do I feel mega stressed - just can't relax.I think because it has turned around so quick.... I haven't really done any research into the company yet but it is quite a high flying role so I need to have done so by tomorrow! Anyway the bottom line is I've been to the shop and spent just under a tenner on 6 packs of crisps, 6 easter eggs and some fairyburst dishwasher tablets :rotfl:
To redeem myself I have been answering some questions for people on the redundancy board- don't want my talents to go a-wasting
My daughter wrote me a lovely note earlier telling me how much she loved me and signed it from "your dort"aawww bless. She's 5! She's told me she doesn't want me to get a job - she wants me to pick her up from school.....

Been cramming for my interview this morning in between doing bits for my day job LOL! I think I understand what the company do and where I fit in.... it would be the next step up in my career I think that is why I was finding it so scary.... I've sat down tho and worked thro the job spec to see how my experience fits.... there are probably a couple of patches I am a bit woolly on but overall I think in terms of culture, knowledge, experience, skills etc it should be a good fit.... just have to convince them now! Keep telling myself to have got an interview they already think I can do the job so I just need to persuade them that I am the best for the job....:p
Think I may be naughty and have dinner out at a cheap carvery near us - got to keep your strength up you know.... I hope it will calm my jitters too! Tried on 3 different tops so far and 2 different suits and still not satisfied...:rotfl: It might help if I lost some weight  I have decided to go with plain black and cream but accessorise with a little colour... - now I am panicking about where those accessories are!
I like to take a briefcase with me with my portfolio and normally that has my professional membership card in it - but I don't know where that card is either   Tidying up for the MIL at weekend is all very good but not if you can't find anything afterwards :rotfl:
I bought a book using free amazon vouchers from bingoport but can't find that either... that was supposed to be about helping me with my job hunt... You might get the slight impression here that my house is not too tidy.... I confess - I have a cleaner - I sent her away today tho as my house is not tidy enough to clean and I needed a clear head to prepare for this pm!
Oh well that is life.... I supposed I'd better start my treasure hunt... I'll report back later!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

All the best for your interview savingholmes, I'm sure you will knock em out! You sound very organised, haven't been for much interviews so can't offer any tips - still think I got my current job cos I said something silly at the interview - it made them laugh tho!0
