Brilliant, sounds like the job for you, I will keep my fingers and toes crossed. A 12 month contract is good, usually they lead to full-time and at least it would be 12 months salary!0

That sounds like a great job opportunity - I will keep my paws crossed for you. :j I am full of admiration at the way you are juggling lots of different job options at the same time; it works well in keeping the momentum going, although it must be really hard work alongside finishing up at your other job and having time with your family. As my nan used to say, more power to your elbow! Those applications don't write themselves; I always find it takes me ages.
You asked if I was ok - definitely well on my way to being better, thanks. Best of luck with the application.0 -
Thanks Hollyberry and others !!! for the encouragement!
One of the jobs I applied for yesterday is too much time away from home so I have pulled out of that one... the agency rang me about it tho which was positive. It is a role I had considered a month or 2 back but the agencies don't usually put the company name on the advert so I hadn't realised it was the same one... I would have 2-3 nights away from home every week.... Money was good but not I think good enough for that...
All being well today should be an NSD!! Nothing else much to report. OH came home early sick, I need to go and collect DD from after school club and DS is out playing with a friend... I've won 40p on my free daily scratchcards plus another 1000 points or so at bp helping me towards my next voucher...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Proves that there are jobs out there, just got to find the blessed things.
I am using my diary to vent and wallow and sing and dance as well. Much healthier than boring the same ole chums with the same ole tales. Another count your blessings moment - parents evening went well - they couldn't be more pleased with my children :j - one even said she would happily take my DS home! Awww bless - it is important to hold onto things like that.
My DD was apparently crying in school this morning because I hadn't said goodbye! I was in the bathroom at the time!!! I probably did but she is suffering from glue ear at the moment so you have to shout right next to her sometimes for her to hear you. OH takes her and DS (5 years older) to school but leaves them about 15 mins b4 start of school so he can get to work... At least that will be one benefit of having some time off work she can have a bit more attention again...
DS told me again he thinks I am the best mum in the world :j he even wrote it in his literacy book - several timesAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
