I've just got a call altho I only got 30 :eek:percentile on Maths, the 87 :jpercentile I got on English pulled me up to 59 percentile and I was in the middle of the group. Interview about a week on Tuesday or something like that! What a relief I can't tell you!!!! He said I had done amazingly well with all the competition to have got this far! So that was also encouraging! Phewwwwwwwwwwwwww !!!!

...I've also started filling some bags with books for my Sister, Sister's OH and my Mum. I have one lone item in a charity bag so far - I find it much easier to give things away to people I know! OH has also filled a big box with books - shame we still have soooooo many left!
That mean you don't want em back? :D I think your sister wants her dvds back though... ;)

Just made appt to do the Notice of Marriage...but now as neither of us have in-date passports we have to take Birth Certificates...which means finding them!! _pale_

yay for SH! good for u and very well done - know from personal experience how hard the tests are - they are written by tough people.
as for the cleaning thing.. well my house needs an ironing angel. i 'employed' child #2 to help me as my tidy house runner this afternoon as child #1 and child #3 were of no use what so ever.
child #2 earnt himself £3.50 and was worth every penny. now if i can just train him to iron!!!!!
have a good eve and thanks for popping in on my diary.

Thanks all! I am still so relieved about that job! It means I am currently at third stage for 1 job, second stage for another and I am waiting to hear if I got to second stage for a third!:j

I have felt really hormonal the last few days for that normal monthly reason LOL! Hope it starts to settle down again soon!

Well today - we need to spend as little as poss! Yesterday to give myself extra incentive to be good - I moved £1K from Acct No 2 to Acct No 1 to pay our bills with. ;) Ideally I want to move a further £100 at OH's next pay day so that doesn't leave much in the account to cover what we need until then. In theory tho if we are really restrained it should be possible!

Last month my CC cashback card bill was way too high  - altho some of that was car insurance and spending in March rather than April's spend! I am trying to just spend on food and petrol this month altho I have agreed with OH and that I will have my hair done just before my interview (THE INTERVIEW)!

Won £1.40 on free scratchies today! That means I am 48p away from cashing out another £10! I LOVE FREE MONEY!

I am really annoyed with job centre as they still haven't paid my interview expenses. I think next time I will ask for a "travel warrant" to buy my train ticket with and that way I am not stuck afterwards waiting for the money. I still need to fill in a form for Tuesday's interview - That's another £14 or so they owe me but it all mounts up! I've been trying to avoid going into town so not dropped it off. But I've just remembered they gave me a pre-paid envelope :o so I can just put in the post box near my house! :jI need to fill in a new claim form too for THE INTERVIEW so I may put them both in the same envelope!

Anyway - I'm not "doing" anything at church tomorrow so that should make the weekend more relaxing. DD is already nagging for a playdate tho.... So it begins.... Hope you all have a great weekend!

  • Very well done on the job hunting progress. Have everything crossed for you. Way to go on the test front.

Agree with the hair thing, a girl has got to look her best.

Can you tell me about the scratchies please? (I mean scratchcards - any other scratchies you may have (eg medical!) no need to share! LOL)

    Enjoy your weekend!

Better go and walk the dog as I have been on here an hour, still feeling pukey (due to caffeine overload) and time is getting on!!!!

Well done on the interview savingholmes! Wouldn't it be great if you were offered all of them, oh to be able to choose! Still haven't tried the maths test you posted will need to get onto that but as maths was never my strong point, could be trouble.

    Have a great weekend x

Thanks guys for popping in. I will pm you re scratchcards GG!

Just having sausage beans and toast for tea I reckon about £1 a head max. DS is having left over chinese for tea, and OH had left over chinese for dinner. I had porridge for dinner so feeling quite virtuous!
