I got accepted on a coaching forum today - linked to my original coaching group. I also have my first pro-bono client so that I can start refreshing my skills....

I have decided I need to change my home phones and possible home phone package if I am going to set up in business for myself. At the moment - my home phone clicks onto answerphones within a few seconds so that is not the image I am going for! I may need to change my mobile package too so I can have some free minutes....

    Thanks CMD

Well new phones are costing around £72 (Dixons) but should get a little bit of cashback from quidco - and is £12 cheaper than Argos! Am just doing a bingo offer for OH which will eventually contribute £8 profit towards that.... Need to look for some other offers as well to help fund it...

hi bevan - is there anyone you could borrow one from or at least try it out and see if it will work for you?

I have just applied to go on a seminar for ICFBA - has anyone on here heard of them? They are a business group which in theory would allow me to work for them as an associate and may help me in getting work. Not sure if there are any catches though?

I keep getting emails from them, but have tried to google and can't find anything out. I keep telling myself that there must be a catch somewhere and have seen on another forum that its a bit like timeshare, where you sign up for courses and qualifications.

    Well done on the coaching.

I have checked out my cashback status and I am due to get £39 from cash back sites in April which will help - that is on top of offers I do between now and then

I went out with a friend tonight which was fun - grand cost of £4.50. She has offered to show me what might sell on ebay and get me started. Just need to arrange a time when she's free with her OH. Chuffed about that.

Spent £97 in Tesco - double ouch!!! theoretically got some bargains on buy one get one frees but even so ouch ouch ouch.

Oops went out with a friend today and after a trip for coffee and a quick nip into Aldi I am £20 worse off! Oh well at least mostly it was food which will keep.

I have decided that my coaching niche is going to be "Self Esteem" coaching - as it is a) something that I have struggled to achieve and b) something I know quite a bit about. I now need to work on developing my website and marketing around that. I am also going to organise some new business cards - possibly via somewhere cheap like vistaprint.

I have also done half an hour in the garden today so feel virtuous. I was given a fire pit a few months ago and am thinking of getting the kids to help me get it out the shed and burning some of what I have chopped down. I think that would be fun for all of us and that they would enjoy helping in the garden and building a mini-safe bonfire!

Hope everyone else is okay - seem to be neglecting a few diaries at the moment as life seems to have speeded up again....
