I was really chuffed last night as I beat my DS at some things on the wii - he is 12! I really like the rhythm boxing - think I could get into that!
I now have 59 gold stars at woohoo - so it is improving and loads of points to play with thanks bevan and csa for joining!
I have left DD have a friend over today so she is happy and DS has gone to play for a few hours at a friend's house so he is happy too!
I have maintained my weight despite eating more normally yesterday so pleased with that. So far only had porridge today. Going to have pizza for tea tho poss with a bit of salad if we have any. That should be nice too. I have had a really relaxing afternoon and spent a couple of hours or so reading a magazine which is nice....
Not been out and spent any money today either which is a result... lets hope I don't get tempted later!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I talked to my umbrella company yesterday - they are still waiting for accident info from me - so I might get a payout from them yet....
That's good. I am glad she wasn't awkward about it. I really hope you get good news about the accident info. You deserve some good news.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I haven't been around for a few days - what a difference a week has made, to the decisions you have made :beer: I'm sure a job nearby that satisfies will turn up for you. You sound so positive now - which I'm sure future employees will pick up on. Far better looking now you have a plan than a few weeks ago when you were going through the motions.
You can be my personal on line life coach :rotfl: if you fancy a bit of practise.
I too have neglected my wii - and have vowed to re-start using it.
I had some tests done yesterday and was told I would be uncomfortable once the numbness of the injection they gave me wore off - and I would need to take it easy today - they were not wrong:eek:.
So all being well I will get my wii fit out again soon. DH got me the nutrition pack for Christmas - I've used it once and was very disappointed in it - any one else tried it?
Whats the site that you want to recommend people to about?

just a thought but you say you were looking to write a self help book and you are already a qualified life coach. if you need material to write your book don't you know anybody who would be willing to be a "case study" for you. maybe offer a friend free life coaching in exchange for using them in the book. that way you should both get something out of it. even ask your OH if need be.

hi starnac, milann, cmd and jellie and all my other regular posters!
It is so nice to come back to and read stuff like this - so thank you again so much.
Starnac - funnily enough I was thinking earlier - I could always advertise for free clients while waiting for paying ones - on condition they let me include material in my book!! And therefore that this was just yet another excuse....
hmmmm a lot to think about at the mo.
Milann - the site I was talking about was woohoo bingo - which in theory gives you amazon vouchers - but to be honest is extremely time consuming - but you get points for inviting peope and points for people playing so if you were willing to join - pm me but I would need an email address. Yeah this week seems to have really been a shift in my thinking....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

My OH wants us to join a gym as a family - it would be £800 we don't really have but it is a lot cheaper than it was a few years ago... and if I stick with only taking a local job or doing freelance stuff then we would have time for the gym. We have done it other years when we weren't having a holiday away.....
I am a minimum of 3 stone overweight - probably 4. OH is worse. Even DS is at least a stone overweight.... possibly two at 12! DD is an ideal weight according to the wii fit....
We both turn 40 this year and really want it to be the year we get fit and healthy....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hello there SH
Good luck with the job hunting. It's good that it's given you a different and more positive focus rather than worrying about your current employers. I hope you get something from the accident as it really has affected you in the last few weeks.

Hi SavingH,
