    Hi sh,

OH is near a redeem on w so his wins have dried up :(

Just redeemed 90 pounds worth of vouchers on amazon thanks to bp & w free bingo :) & of course you getting me into bp in the first place :)

When my 2 were young, I used to forward plan for school holidays, tesco redeems are good for treats, but also I use to search the local freebie newspapers, there are lots of free or nearly free things to do if you sign up asap, lots have limited places, so don't just bin them :).

    hi milann, lucielle and se

Well today we couldn't find the tesco vouchers so joined blockbusters and got 5 dvds for £10.50 including confessions of a shopaholic - which was painful but funny to watch....

Sadly I don't have any designer goods to sell to clear our debts - ours came from overspending on food and basics rather than pure luxury. We've had one holiday abroad about every 3-5 years etc so it isn't even that. It was just day-to-day mismanagement of money and overspending....

Oh well - tomorrow is another day.... I did like the way she settled the score with the debt collector - but again we are lucky enough not to have those on our back......

Bye for now hope you are all having a good week

Redeemed another £5 from bp :j

Can't sleep tho and need to! :eek:Am due back at the physio tomorrow - but dreading it as last week was really painful :(during the session and absolutely excruciating :eek:at the weekend. Also been exchanging emails with work which seem to have an odd tone to them - keep wondering if I am about to be sacked :eek::eek:and whether that would be a good thing.

Can't bring myself to resign at the mo given the effort it took to get the job but really don't want to go back either... Am mostly worried about the financial impact if I did resign and wasn't immediately successful in getting another job or at least getting some kind of benefits...:o

I really need a job - and I think at the moment there are starting to be a few more jobs out there - but I would need to be immediately available which currently I am not due to a) my contract and b) my knee problem! Arghhhhh so frustrating....

Keep trying to tell myself - I am doing the right thing for my long term knee health in trying to get this sorted - but the pain seems to be telling me something else... really confusing.... It has been well over 2 months since the injury now - you would think I would have seen major improvement by now!

Yeah you can be sacked for being off sick.

Physio guy was disappointed that I had reacted so badly to last week's session. He says my skin is also hyper-sensitive - and I have to deal with that by massaging my knee several times and day and use the tens machine directly where it hurts! He says if it is not better by next week I should be referred for an MRI which is worrying....

I am laughing at the tens machine bit cos I have one for labour! Are they good?

Sorry to hear about the prognosis though. It must be very hard to rest up and then try to be Mum to your DD and DS as well.

hi CMD - yeah it is - and yeah I used a tens machine for labour too!

Well I bought pain relieving gels to use when I massage my knee. He suggested aqueous cream - I thought if I have to massage something into my painful knee it makes more sense to use something with anaethetising properties....!

OH and DS have been and collected the bed - just hope it is okay this time... and we don't have bed bug problems. Apparently it was only ever used for a few weeks.... so hopefully it will be okay.

DD and I have been tidying out my study/guest bedroom to make space for the bed - we have filled a large rubble sack and a charity bag and hoovered most of the floor so it is an improvement. OH is being very grumpy tho putting it in situ - apparently the journey back was hell due to traffic - and the tiny space he left himself to sit in! I am trying to keep out the way - but as I am on the computer - which is where he would like to be he is probably still unimpressed! Tough!

Well my cashback CC was only £682 this month down from £912 last month so I think we have done quite a bit better than normal. Ideally need to get it still lower tho as have also used the overdraft a bit..... I think really it should be one or other....
