Hi GG - may go back to the doctor's tomorrow as need next sick note
This week - asked kids what things they might like to do - 3 pages later....
Think we might go bowling, to the cinema, to a local attraction and to pizza hut
Plus bake cakes, do craft things and play on the wii and possibly with board games
I have just set up for DD to have a sleepover elsewhere tomorrow night at a friend's house.... now if only DS could go somewhere....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Sounds like you've got half term organised sh

Hope the knee isn't too restrictive.
W is getting nasty spam attacks in the chat rooms, watch out if you're on when the kids are around, the content isn't nice, probably 'kids' at half term with nothing better to do unfortunately!!!!0 -
Martin has a post that you can get 1 game for 1p early am at bowling, Between 9am and 9.30 I think. Subsequent games full price. Hi milann, verbatim and se
Well last night I went out with a friend - had one drink - and she paid LOL. After that we went back to hers for a coffee since it was cheaper!
Today - I took the kids to get some cinema tickets - for DS tonight and for all of us tomorrow. I then let the kids have a happy meal each before dropping DD for a sleepover at a friends. DS and I then went to a coffee shop for a chat before coming back home.
DS then went on wii fit for over an hour so really pleased with that - while I APPLIED FOR A JOB. I was rung up about a 6 months one reasonably local this morning so quite excited about that - lets hope it is a goer. Really need to get my hair done tho if interviews are in sight.
Did ring the doctor re a sick note but they said they would ring me but not heard anything. Knee is still pretty painful but much better and free-er than the weekend.
DD has a specialist appointment tomorrow re her feet and after that we are all going to watch Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief! I've read the book so looking forward to that.
DS has also persuaded a friend to go to Avatar with him tonight - and then he is having a sleepover so OH and I are getting a night to ourselves - pretty good hey!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi CMD - I am sure we will enjoy ourselves. I had a mcd's the other week with DS - I was disappointed - the bread was almost soggy they put that much sauce on it - so today all I have had is porridge, half a pack of rolos, some mint chocolate and an apple. I am sure that I will make up for it on our meal out tonight tho.... Just need to choose where to go!
I am now up to 8 gold stars on Woohoo - very slow going!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

SH - I cashed in for an amazon voucher on Saturday, & I'm upto over 60 again, there were mega up and down days though, I start very early morning though, and most stars I get are in the mornings, just less points to win then.
Hope your job application goes well.0 -
OH has been given a 2.5% pay rise from March which should help - really chuffed about that. He got nothing last year so this is good news! He should also get his overtime pay at the end of this week too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
