Be careful of cashback credit cards! I think some of the reduction in bill will be petrol - but there we go!

Today I am taking a friend into town - need to try not to spend much!
I seem to have a cold - although I have optimistically taken an anti-allergy tablet too in case the candles I have been burning have set off my allergies...!
This afternoon - I need to do my expenses and send off fuel receipts and my sick notes. Not sure what I will end up getting paid at all.
I also need to contact my umbrella company and ask about their accident insurance and whether I qualify. It could make a difference to when I go back to work LOL
I also need to find all the paperwork on last year's earnings and contact the tax credits office and see if I can get some child tax credit
Please nag me gently until I have done the above!!
I also need to check my online banking and move some money between 2 accounts since I haven't been paid on time!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

hi cmd and karen - thanks for the gentle nag!!!
I have rung my umbrella company - I need to input some info via the internet and they will get back to me on whether I qualify for the insurance payout!
Some good news tho is that I qualify for nearly £80 a week sick pay which is better than nothing - and they don't deduct their payroll fee from it which I thought they did.
So need to force myself to find relevant receipts, input them and send them and my sick notes off tomorrow am!
Going to log onto the bank next!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Logged onto the bank - have transferred some money - we can survive thro to end of March hopefully without touching savings if we are ultra careful. Still considering the training course tho - there is one starting next week.... that would cost money but could live with credit for that....
ps just checked the course is full....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

January is hard enough as it is, what with the post Christmas blues an all, so its easy to feel more down in the dumps than usual.
Top dollar about the £80, now that is something!
I was having a good day........... now not so great. Have just bitten Mr GG's head right off. So much so he's hung up on me. Don't blame him. So hormonal it hurts. Actually, it doesn't only hurt its raging. Perhaps drowning said rage in red wine is the answer?** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010

Hi GG sorry you are suffering and rowing with OH!
DD broke DS's ipod touch on xmas day - trying to find a cheap way of getting it fixed at the mo - one quote was £70 - OH thinks he might be able to do it himself for about £30 which is all DS has at the mo...
Started with a bit of a cold now to top everything else off! Just hope I haven;t passed it onto my friend...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

think it was about £60 to fix Mr Lurkers iPhone when the muppet dropped it......he too was keen to try to fix it himself but decided that might take his tinkering too far....
Hope Mr SH can do it!I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0
