I don't intend to do the stuff I brought home with me - that is why I am kicking myself for bringing it home IYKWIM don't think there is anything urgent in it but who knows... or should I say right now who cares!
The stuff you brought home could be taken back in by DH to security if you like? Just give it DH later if so. :)

Thanks Jellie - knee is a lot less painful today - spent most of the day lying on the bed with my laptop LOL so not put much pressure on it or me today.

I've done a few cashback deals though which should get me about £20-30 in a few weeks/months time - here's hoping!

I have also started the process of getting paypal verified so that I can try and sell some stuff on ebay!

  • I am so sorry to land you with my PM when you are going through your own trauma's. I hadn't had time to catch up on your diary and now I have, I feel selfish! Hope that I have provided a much needed distraction!

Stuff the job and work hard for 2mths looking for something else.

Not worth increasing the AD dose esp when you've been doing well for 2 years.

Don't worry GG - I have more time to answer pm's now I am off anyway!

Well today I have been kind to myself. Stayed in bed until past noon - then went to costa coffee had lunch and a cappucino. Bought some earings that are gorgeous (£39 for 2 pairs) and then went and picked DD up from school - went to a few more shops (approx £20 spend) - probably spent a bit more than I should and came home again.

OH is unusually for him working tomorrow - so I have invited one of DD's friends over to play as she will be easier to deal with - with a playmate rather than without.

Paypal have asked for a utility bill as additional verification not sure why. But hopefully I can sort that out this weekend and then get properly set up and then learn how to ebay.

I also think I will have another go at writing my book. I've bought a few books for 49p each that are similar to what I want to write (at a discount shop) so will see if they inspire me.

Feel much better in myself today - still pondering whether to resign - but will give myself a few more days to consider that. No need to rush the decision since I am now off sick anyway. However given how light I feel knowing I don't have to go back is a powerful motivator for not going back. I don't want to spend 9 months of the year unhappy and under-paid which is what I think will happen if I return to work....

Hi Jellie I am feeling much better - tears all gone! Knee isn't throbbing as much and am back to taking 3 nurofen a day instead of probably 4 or 5 (overdosing)!! I think I should have listened sooner to the pain I was feeling and realised I was trying to over-do it

So glad you're feeling a bit better and sounding brighter. Sounds like you've had a lovely day. I think you really needed to treat yourself- you've been really good for ages!
How exciting that you're thinking of writing a book! Are we allowed to know what genre?

hi jellie - intrigue style romantic fiction - I wrote a few chapters just before I got this job - now want to try again.

Thanks Jellie for not making me feel guilty about today.... The earrings I bought really are amazing - double love hearts victoriana 3 d style on long silver dangly bits - I think I will treasure them for a long time to come. My DD immediately asked if she could have some like it when she's old enough to have her ears pierced!

I really want to try and give ebay selling a go - but don't know where to start.... I think I will have a look at that turn £100 into £10k challenge

Still trying to sort out paypal! Really must scan in a utility bill and send it them and hopefully it is all positive from there on in!

I have just cleared off my bedside table - and am now displaying a hand crafted tiffany style stained glass butterfly - beautiful jewel tones to go with the my curtains and quilt! Wonder if I could persade OH later in the year that he needs something similar on his side of the bed!!! Perhaps for my birthday I could aim for another tiffany style lamp in my front room too! DD at 6 is hopefully old enough not to wreck it. I do love them. That organising book suggests you make rooms for things of beauty and clear the unbeautiful stuff out of your life.... I also think because these lamps are hand crafted that they will hold their value well and could be heirlooms of the future!

I am feeling much more upbeat today I feel like I have had a mini-holiday. I am conscious tho that I need to make money some how so want to give my brain some time to percolate some new ideas through it too. One of the books I bought was about setting up your own business - only £3 from the works - I thought I could always sell it on afterwards!
