hi jellie, imd, cmd and verbatim
Glad the list was of some help!
Survived the day! received £10 in amazon vouchers today - which was nice from bp so snook in another xmas present...
Tomorrow is just half day in work - will try really hard to leave on time as exhausted. OH has booked next Tues off - partly for a school event and partly cos he is shattered too
Roll on xmas - I have 11 days off and OH 11.5 days including weekendsAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Came home to another freebie from rimmel - I am coming to the conclusion there is very little need to buy makeup - you can get loads thro the mse freebie board and so called competitions where you are almost guaranateed to win.
had lipstick, lip gloss, mascara, foundation all sorts recently - full sizes too! Goes into hampers etc! for xmasAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Glad you are hoping to get the cleaner back SH - you need some time with your littlies - they grow too fast. If it means your debtfree date is a little further back by paying for it - balance that with the thought - if you carry on as you are and end up ill - the 'sick' pay would be a lot less than your wage minus the cleaners bills IYKWIM.
I'm sick of spending my weekends cleaning and doing just the basics during the week. I keep threatening to get organised and try doing a bit each day but it never seems to happen. I'd love to work part time and have time to do it myself - I'm not sure I want someone in my home!! I'm lucky to get school holidays off - but seem to spend most of them cleaning the debris of term-time LOL.
Must have been a real downer not getting paid - think I'd have cried too - how long have you been there now with nothing to show for it.
Take care and enjoy your half day tomorrow.

HI Milann - couldn't get to sleep so got back up!
I think this is week 7 so yeah not getting paid was pretty upsetting.
I'm not even sure I would get sick pay so cleaner definitely cheaper! I've had the same cleaner for about 5 years now off and on depending on my work situation. She even helps us out if she's here when the kids are ill - she's gone and picked up medicine before now etcAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

She had bought me 2 hamper baskets for £4 each to help me organise xmas pressies and told me all her friends were anxiously waiting to see what I'd put in her hamper - no pressure for xmas then!
Well today is another day and my parents will be at my house waiting for me when I get home :eek: 'nough saidIt was nice of her to bring the hamper baskets too :A
I only had one of them, so got off lightersavingholmes wrote: »My parents bought us a chinese and were actually really nice today. The kids really appreciated their visit. They know how hard I find it to be tidy so were very impressed with how tidy downstairs looked ROFL! We've had a lightbulb moment this week. I'm devastated. Much work needs to be done and I don't really know where to start tbh. Gutted."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
BZ more than happy to assist with the light bulb... You could always pm me an SOA or post it on my diary if you don't want to start your own...
Well really pleased - visited my snowball calculator and I have a) put in £46 too much on a credit card balance transfer fee so we are that much better off - plus must not have reported a payment so just updated sig!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

What time do you finish? It's a lovely day here now but a bit nipply!0

Hi CSA - its cold here too! I am supposed to finish at 12.30 usually more like 1pm. Today I got away after only 20 minutes extra which is better than normal!
Bingoport has changed its redeem rules which are going to make it harder to redeem which is a bit of a blow. It is now 10000 points to get an amazon voucher and you have to play 2000 points in bingo not just slots which will make it more difficult
All set to be paid Monday so fingers crossed on that one....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
