    Thanks CMD and Lucielle

I have had to move £100 between accounts to prop up DDs and STOs. We have 2 main accts - 1 we try to keep overdraft free - and the second we occasionally allow to go slightly into overdraft... This is now £100 worse in overdraft than before.

I have had it agreed that I will get paid earlier than originally planned in Dec so hopefully later in the month I will feel more positive! Will make Jan longer tho

I wondered if you would be seeing them... I am working on the basis we will see you at some point separate from the rest? Perhaps email or pm me....

Nice to save on postage tho... don't want to do an M&D and hold them to ransom with come if you want a pressie thing....
Indeed. It's essentially what I was thinking too. Although I have heard tell that the nieces' parentals may be planning to host a get-together.... We'll sort something out one way or another. :)
Well MIL loved the dinner and her pressie - so much so she has only just left!

Feel like I've spent most of the weekend tidying or preparing for MIL's visit. House nice and tidy downstairs - but that kind of "false" tidy where you can't find anything afterwards!
Was she pleased with the photos then? :)
I know exactly what you mean by "false" tidy. DH is the king of it!! Our spare rooms are a disgrace and I can never find anything when he tidies up cos everything thing that's not nailed down seems to just get chucked behind a closed door!

MIL burst into tears when she saw my fav one of DD that I had put in a special butterfly frame and really liked the other one too :j- which had each of us on.... She had bought me 2 hamper baskets for £4 each to help me organise xmas pressies and told me all her friends were anxiously waiting to see what I'd put in her hamper - no pressure for xmas then!

Well today is another day and my parents will be at my house waiting for me when I get home :eek: 'nough said

Aww that's terrible. getting paid the first time in a new job so often goes wrong and it's always JUST when you most need money. And the paymasters always seem so casual about it all, as if it's insignificant rather than the reason you're there at all.

Hope you're feeling better and have a good day.

Totally agree with you Verbatim, about the casual approach of the paymasters. I was in the same situation 2 years ago and had been out of work for 2 months, OH was back in uni and we had moved from Scotland to south east England (with debts). Luckily I got the money in the end but it was nerve wracking and very stressful.

Hi guys - Thanks again for the support

well I felt really stressed still today and very very tired - too busy a day - struggling to think straight!

Managed to get DS some trousers at lunchtime - value pair from mr Ts for £1.50!! They felt like it to tho!

My parents bought us a chinese and were actually really nice today. The kids really appreciated their visit. They gave the kids £5 each and me £30 towards getting my cleaner back lol - as a way of protecting my sanity! They know how hard I find it to be tidy so were very impressed with how tidy downstairs looked ROFL! [downstairs!!!!]

They have bought some pressies off me and said they will put the money in my bank tomorrow -so that is another £72 heading in my direction.... which will take a bit of pressure off!

I think I am going to accept that I am permanently ill!!!!!
