I know exactly what you mean! Top priority is to get back to doing full hours at work. It is really tiring me out at the moment. I'm very aware that as soon as I can manage it I need to try and reclaim my life back!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

I think reclaiming your life is a definite priority. Spent some time with DD today and took DS out for a soft drink and icecream as he's been missing out on spending time with me. By the time I've got home I want to "kill something" and am not particularly disposed to being patient with kiddies! It is hard as I love them to bits and they deserve my time - but I'm brain dead as I have often been out 12 hours.
I am 20 minutes past my bed time now lol and have an extra early start as have to drop littlest one off at mils on the way to work! I think that will add half hour on to my journey. I think she is paying me back for lack of attention by calling us out of work - but perhaps I'm paranoid. My son has done that before too!! It is one to watch!
Anyway night night Jellie - its nice to have some posts on my diary from others - especially from people who know what this feels like!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

hi swinstie nice to see you back - I missed you! Felt lonely LOL. Tea was horrible - DS agreed but OH refused to accept that it needed "improvement"
Not won anything today - gutted. My clubcard subscription token arrived today tho which was nice and I've ordered another couple of CDs on the 500 clubcard points offer - figure I can't really lose! As a minimum it is a discount - at the best could get 4x in deals - win win!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I feel for you doing those long hours sh. A few years ago as my youngest started secondary school I retrained so I worked anywhere that'd have me to get experience. I was doing 3 jobs with no car - I felt absolutely done in - out from 8 am till 8 pm and some weekends too. My kids were older, so I don't know how you manage to juggle kids jobs and very early mornings. :A to you. Winter months were definately worse - dark mornings and dark night YUK. Take care of yourself.

Thanks milann - it is very hard - feel I have no choice tho - mainly as we still have debts:o. Without the debt we could just and only just scrape thro on one wage if we accounted for every penny. We also want our kids to have the option of university preferably without massive debt attached - in which case we need to earn the money now so that we can help them out later.... I think with doing contracting there is the side benefit to the kids at least that they do get periods when I am out of work and therefore around more so hopefully it will balance out!(I still would like a local perm job tho - but only really if it is local!)
I won another £20 :j:j:jtoday on bb so really pleased with that - didn't even have to top up to withdraw! And I am home!!!! :jHaving picked up DD on the way back! I have an Asda delivery coming shortly so don't have to go back out for that - and I've also dropped the tyre OH punctured at the garage! Hopefully pick that up either later today or first thing tomorrow! It was one I had only replaced a month ago - but it was really OH's fault - but I negotiated with them and looked pitiful and they knocked £20 :money:off the price so adding that to my sig as well.
Tomorrow we are off to pick up OH's bike :j:j:jthat he was offered a week or so ago for free! Amazing! We are also oing to have lunch and spend some time together with the givers - we are still gob smacked about it
Annoyingly the bike jacket I ordered for him and paid for 3 weeks ago has still not arrived :mad:despite me chasing it up last weekend! We were hoping it would come in time for him to wear it with his "new" motorbike!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
