Hi BZ - don't mention it as he hasn't got it yet and was annoyed I posted it up! I think he is worried in case it doesn't come off. Hoping to go and get it next weekend!
No probs :) I would be too...worried, not annoyed ;)

  • Hi SH, been slowly working my way through your diary. Thankyou for all your wise and kind words on my diary.

With the bike and the BB winnings it sounds like good things are happening. I find it affects the mindset and as a believer of all this positive thinking malarky I think it has a knock on effect.

    Happy Sunday.

hi DC and BZ - I am a believer in positive thinking and in prayer. I do think things happen for a reason - the good and the bad - its just that we don't always understand it at the time.

Well DD is still a bit poorly but has gone to a friends to play anyway. She looks gorgeous in one of those zig zag hem dresses and her new boots and a little "fur" shrug! I seriously hope she doesn't want to be a model or something when she's older - but she is a bit obsessed! I wouldn't mind but its not as if I buy fashion magazines or anything but she is obsessed regardless!

We are enjoying the peace and quiet without her LOL. I have beef cooking in the oven which was half price a few weeks ago.... Looking forward to a gorgeous dinner and hopefully make it last until another day as well.

hi lucielle - I pre-buy the tickets generally and OH has account. I tend to buy the 20p tickets on buy 5 get 1 free. I buy 3 lots of 5 and one lot of 10 tickets! Hope that helps. I tend to play in the mornings altho the afternoons tend to have more players so you get more if you win!

    Good luck

The beef sounds good - I have a piece in freezer waiting for over Christmas.

We went out to Brazilian restaurant last night - joint celebration between dd and dh birthdays - it was amazing (pity dd wasn't well enough to enjoy it though) - there was a buffet style veg and salads bar and then meat was brought around and sliced at the table for you - they apparently had 15 different kinds of bbq meat on gigantic skewers and sliced pieces for you at the table for you to eat. Everything was so tender and red hot. You could eat as much or as little as you liked. I ve never been to a Brazillian restaurant before but would certainly go again - sorry I'm rambling.....but it was gooooodddddd...:p

DH birthday today - kids all gone home and we are both sitting on laptops - who said the art of conversation is dead LOL????????

Better go and make a bit of a fuss for his birthday now - think I'll crack open the choccy and wine

Hi SH thought i would pop in to see how you are. hellowave.gif

hope the job is going ok , sounds like long hours to me, are you still looking for another job?

I ve been really busy at work doing a fair bit of overtime, it means the house has gone to pot but the extra money is fabulous just before xmas. I have booked a spa afternoon for DD1 as its her 16th birthday coming up soon, its 3hrs use of the facilities and complementary drinks and then I.ve booked her a facial as a surprise, I think she will love it, even better there is a £10 discount voucher for it :j smilley_dance.gif

    hope everything is ok x

Hi SC thanks for visiting me again. Nice to hear your news. Overtime money sounds good

Yes this is the start of week 4 - very long hours due to the commute but liveable with for the moment. I still would like a permanent job but am too exhausted currently to look! As long as things go ok will persevere with this for the time being and then review after Christmas and perhaps Easter....

Took an hour and half to get home tonight but given how foggy it was that was quite good

Didn't win on BB today - boohoo. Only got 10ps on scratchcards too! Hope I do better on bp - not sure I will get a voucher this week sadly... Nearly at cash out on one of my scratchcards tho...

    Hope everyone else okay
