I am still feeling hot and shivery and then cold and shivery - but it is the wrong time of the month as well so hard to know whether it is that or a cold. Am persevering with the help of nurofen.

I am managing to get in in a morning and on time - and am generally going to bed on time so feel reasonably awake - so so far it is ok. The person I am supposed to be doing a handover with has been off most of last week and this week so far - so that adds an interesting dimension to say the least!

Money wise other than completely overshooting the grocery budget at the weekend we are doing quite well. Not succumbed to any more new clothes altho I really would like to buy more jumpers and cardis as where I am working feels quite cold. I am normally a short sleaves all year round person - but currently have a (2 week old LOL) jumper on!

I am so looking forward to being paid at the end of the month but my contract still isn't properly set up as the right people aren't in to sort it. Hope it happens on time!

My OH has been sent a pin for the 0% card he applied for so hoping the balance transfer went thro ok but don't know as the rest of the paper work has not arrived yet.

    Hope everyone else ok!

Aww, bless you SH. I think you deserve at least two new jumpers to keep you warm through your shivers ;)

Bet you can't wait for payday - hope it's all sorted in time for you. It's annoying when waiting.

Get yourself an early night, take care xx

Hope they get your wage sorted for you - they should at least offer a sub if they don't get it for you.

Bet you were worried when you couldn't find ds did the hour and a half seemed like a day and a half

I'm impressed ds went to a party of fairies (somehow that sounds worse than it is meant to  - no offence intended) Sounds like the children have a pretty good social life.

Have put summary of my last two lunchtimes at work on my diary - won't bore you with it twice :D

I was shattered last night after work and in bed at 9pm.
Meeting my ds tomorrow night for a shopping trip for a belated birthday present for my dd who is coming home at weekend :D I havent seen her since July so am looking forward to it. It's dh birthday so will be out for a meal somewhere.

You doing anything nice for bonfire night?

    Hi Milann

DS is quite sociable in his own way - I am pleased that he is adaptable. A lot of kids he knew were at the party - and originally he wasn't invited. He got a last minute invite so in a strange way was extra grateful lol!

My social life as a kid was crap as my parents had few friends. Plus I was very badly bullied until I was at least 12 probably older. It is quite improtant to me therefore that my kids don't suffer that kind of disadvantage!:p So far they seem to have escaped those problems

Hope you manage to get something nice of your DD and that the visit goes well!

Bonfire night itself we are not going out - but we've been invited out with friends of OH that I probably haven't met - this Friday. I've said we will go for the sake of the kids - free food and fireworks very mse!:money:

Well today got home just before 7 again. Despite phoning OH with suggestion for tea which would have taken 2 mins to implement and 30 mins for the oven to cook - there was no tea ready when I got home so I am fizzing mad!

I've fed DD (6) since I got home! The rest of us are still waiting

I need to stay at work really late tomorrow but have agreed with start later so can take DD to school and won't work Friday. So not bad really!

Well moneywise kjp turned into a nightmare but bb has been a money earner - won another £5 on there today

    Hope everyone else okay!

hi CMD nice to see you popping in again!

Well new job is going okay I think - but my boss has been away so no feedback. My handover person has been on holiday or off sick so it's been a case of getting stuck in and finindg my own way! Just hoping they are happy with that!

Journey home yesterday and today was atrocious - really hope it picks up! My DD is pleased with the thought of me taking her to school - not told her yet I won't be home to put her to bed!! EEK

I was thinking I might go to a friends for coffee in a bit - it would do me good. Still fizzing tho - need to try and get over that!

Glad job is going so well, you sound really upbeat.
