Signed up OH to BB - and he won £10 so after £5 stake - that is a £5 profit on the first night! Looking forward to the rest of the month now!
I also signed OH up to V bingo - so we can get the free daily scratchcards... via cashback site so stake protected too!
Thanks Jellie for popping in ! Hope you all have a great weekend!
Got DD and DS back now which is nice. Watching a rerun of xfactor and I must admit you do think slightly differently second time thro... hmmmm

Well I have another £5 coming my way from free daily scratchcards....
I completely blew my grocery budget last night as I went to Asda! I think I will stick to online shopping from now ! Spent £139 last night - wouldn't mind but couldn't fit everything I wanted in the freezer either!
Oh well hope to have a go at making chicken chasseur tonight that should be nice - I'm hoping to make it last a few days.
DS has 2 parties to go to this weekend plus a firework event - I need to find gifts and food for some of those too
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I know there are a lot of lurkers reading this - but it really is more encouraging when you post LOL!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Won £6.67 on BB so now in profit there too! Pleased about that! Having an okay weekend. Lost DS for an hour and half as his phone was switched off - he was in mega trouble! He had stayed on the estate he said he would tho so not completely grounded - altho he did go trick or treating without permission!
He is going to a fairy birthday party tonight - so I've sprayed his hear orange and sprayed his face, hair and arms with glitter spray! He's wearing jeans and a plain shirt with it - plus some of those glow stick things so I think he looks "magical" but still all boy! LOL!
Decorated ginger bread men with DD today courtesy of £1.79 pack in Mr As so she has had fun. Also returned most books to the library - for some reason my brain is refusing to read at the mo but there we go!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well done on the bingo SH, sorry I've been away with the fairies last few days, had a few very late nights so been very tired and spent all day 'building' my new PC
It works too
Hope DS enjoys his parties and I don't blame DD for enjoying that, I used to do that with my mum too (including when I'd grown up

glad you got your pc sorted Bevan!
DS enjoyed his party and they were pleased he made an effort! I've said he needs to put a coloured towel on the bed so we don't get orange all over the sheets! He is going to wear the orange hair tomorrow if it stays on his hair! Just need to wipe the glitter off his arms and face tho!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Sounds like the kids had fun!! Only had 2 lots of tricksters tonight and they were all littlies with there parents waiting at gate. I quite enjoy seeing them all dressed up. A mini bar of choccie each and they were happy little horrors!! Lots of choc left though - will just have to eat it myself can't let it go off now can I.

Back at work on Monday - I have decided I am not going to all the lunchtime meetings anymore. It is doing me no good in the long term and I am going to make sure if I feel tired when we should be meeting - I'm telling bosses and going off the premises for a break - I'm not doing more than 1 a week - a normal week is always 2 a week often more. This might cost me in the local coffee shop (we don't have any staff room) but what must be must be. I have joined a union paying through direct debit, cos I've a feeling I might be opening a can of worms by these actions  - think I might just need a safety blanket - and I'm usually a very placid being

I think you are sensible joining a union in that at least you will have some protection. You are entitled to the break - so good on you!Sounds like the kids had fun!!

Yes he totally scared me! I had him blubbing for about 20-30 minutes tho b4 I told him he could go to the party after all! He is having his pocket money docked for this month - but I've told him if he is good I will give him the docked money at end of Nov so he does have a chance to get it back - as he wants to buy xmas presents with it - bless! He's also on an electronics ban when we are in but not when we are not as I think he would struggle being home after school alone without his blessed computer LOL!
Yes it is a girl's birthday party. One 17 year old lad wore tights, pink tutu skirt and even curled his hair! He still looked very boy tho! My DS looked gorgeous with orange hair with glitter in! The glitter was kind of an orange bronze effect too so he totally looked like a performer rather than an idiot! He loves the orange hair ! They had hired a young lad to do the djaying and it was really good -so he had a good time. he has another party tomorrow afternoon and then a firework event!:rotfl:Is it a girl's party?
So why isn't my social life more exciting

Voice has almost gone this morning - so dropped kids at church (OH was already there) and came home. Will need to go back and collect.
Unpacked and packed dishwasher. Now need to tidy and hoover lounge and ideally do loads of clothes washing and sorting. We have also just realised that the party this pm - DS may not have told her he's coming so he will need to ring her after church to make sure he is still ok to go! I will have to go and pick them up from church in an hour or so!
Made chicken chasseur last night - slightly concerned the flavour is a bit strong for the kids - but I liked it!
Have been able to redeem £5 in Amazon vouchers today from bp so pleased with that! Goes towards xmas present fund!
Bye for now everyone - have a great day!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
