Well I decided to check out my online banking. I reckon I can overpay cap 1 by £200 so set up a payment for Monday for that. I've just redone my snowball - definitely need a new 0% transfer. One of my others for nearly £5K runs out January... Just hope there will be a new offer then!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

We Lurkers are also FF fans (& House, Bones, Lie to Me, Fringe, really should get out more) but are a week behind as I've tried to do housework before watching tv.....that plan not wokring overly well....
big fat ouch on the interest rate, fingers are crossed that the new application gets accepted
Glad that job seems to be going ok, you deserve some better luck after your bumpy ride just recently!

I like Greys Anatomy but only watch DVDs as don't have sky. Also like bones - don't get to watch that at the mo. Sometimes watch House - used to love it but all a bit samey now... Not watched the other 2 you mentioned. I love the mentalist too but that isn't on at the mo - disappointing. Like x factor and Dr Who.... that is probably about it! Glad I wasn't the only one. I wanted to watch a program about aliens not what that programme turned into.Lurker1972 wrote: »it was a little disturbing at times, captain jack couldn't keep it under control!

HI hope you get the card cap one tried it with me to but i opted out! So when the balance is nil they will close the account and virgin but i would have done that anyway!x
Hope your ok you are doing so well.x0 -
I just wish we had realised what the card were up to in time to opt out! Wasn't aware they could change the rate on us like that... We are fine tho - it is about an extra £22 month interest so not the end of the world.
OH has asked me to hold off on the extra payment in the hope that he can do the balance transfer as he gave them the whole amount for a potential transfer!
Just redeemed another £5 from bp - just hope they accept it!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I took pity on DS and picked him up from MIL's today. She had been lovely to him really in her way but he was bored out of his skull and desperately missing his computer! It does mean he will be alone all day tomorrow but he says he would like a day of peace! At 11! Bless! He is out with the church youth group all day Friday so I don't think one day on his own will do him any harm!
MIL went to IKEA but she doesn't like the daybed we've chosen - she thinks he should just have a proper bed! I want it to feel like a teenagers den and kind of the room decor to grow with him. He will be 12 just after xmas! Since we're paying he is going to get what we want!
I think we are having quite a good month moneywise.... Might ring my cashback CC to see how its doing LOL! Need to wait for the payment to go thro tho.... I tried having online banking for it but I kept messing up the password so given up at the mo!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
