Hi elbereth nice to see you here too!

Xfactor was good - I like Lloyd but he is definitely the weakest - him and the twins. Thought Rachel did much better today but so did the rest!

Another washing load now in - no 4! I have clothes hanging round everywhere downstairs but must confess the dryer is on as well!

I have just done an Asda online order Managed to get it down from £104 first attempt to £84 after some tweaking. Should largely restock my freezer and tin cupboard. Hope there will be loads left at the end of the week... We will see! I stocked up on household items too this week!

I don't get paid from my new job until around end of Nov.... so we still need to be careful!

Have had a very lazy weekend - did a bit of cooking and a token tidy but spent most of the weekend catching up on various diaries :p

Phew... read all of yours over the last few days and you have certainly been on a roller-coaster with the job hunting:eek: Glad you have found something that suits but hope the hours aren't too much over time. I do admire all you mums who juggle full time work with home kids and everything else. Your ds and dd sound lovely - well grounded.

Your oh is not the first to forget to pick up dd from afterschool - you would be amazed how often parents have to be rung after 'mix ups' with arrangements LOL - I have done afterschool at my work for some time now. I always feel so sorry for them - kids don't seem to bother but the parents feel sooo guilty. It's all in a days work for us - and some of the excuses I have heard LOL :D

It feels so late cos the clocks changed and it went dark so early.

HI Milann - well done for reading the whole thing! :AWow! Thanks too for the support. :TYes my kids are fab as is my MIL in practice. My OH means well just gets it wrong quite often just like we all do!

Job hunting has been a rollercoaster. I am trying to be grateful for what I've now got - and not jeopardise it - but in practice I am still looking as it is about a third less over the year than I earned from my main job last year!

I wrote a longer reply but it has disappeared so I will give up for now!

    See you all tomorrow!

Well today I got to go on the internet at lunchtime for once. Hoping for my first proper lunchbreak since I joined. Got a busy week planned but so far seems manageable so still feeling quite positive.

Was really pleased last week - I took £30 cash out. At the end of the week I gave £10 to OH, £4 to DD and spent money on chips and still had some money left for lunches this week so was chuffed!

Hope you are all having a good start to the week!

Hi guys -well I have joined a new bingo site as per hypnos thread so we will see if I manage to win anything. You deposit £5 and then for 30 days if you log in and play everyday they give you a free £5 to play with - and you can withdraw any winnings - watch this space - really hoping I win something!

Also picked up a couple more new cushions for the lounge. They are red and cream stipes in chenille from poundstretcher extra at £6.99 each. Also picked up a couple for DS's daybed so was pleased with that! They had run out Saturday when I tried to get them. Relieved!

Today at work went well - had quite a good day so feeling more positive about the role! It is half term tho so less people in which may be contributing to a lighter feeling about the place!

Had lovely left over lamb for tea - yum!

Looking forward to watching flashforward later! Any other fans out there?

    Bye for now!

Good to hear positive vibes at work. And well done on the £30 lasting :T

What time do you have to leave in the morning - did you say it was some unearthly hour????

I've had a good 1st day of half term - even managed a swim - 1st in a loonngg time.

Went into town and got a bit sidetracked looking for a box or bucket of popcorn to go with cinema voucher for Chrissy pressies - anyone see any this year - I know they used to do them
