you could do it without the recipet because then it would look less dodgy. so they dont look at the reciept and go hmmm. she got 5 quid off. if anyone knows what i mean.

There are going to be a lot of 342 offers on, from tomorrow, Time Delay, Bio Oil, Nivea, soap & glory skin range (I think), Loreal, can't remember the rest.

Don't forget, if you want to buy accessories with your perkies and they don't have what you want, buy whatever you can get, keep the receipt, then swap the item for what you wanted when they are back in stock. There shouldn't be a problem with that on the accessories, its only cosmetics you can't exchange without good reason. You'll probably only be able to swap them for No 7, with a voucher having been used to buy them.

Sorry to snip, I've not had a problem with the face mask but I have had a similar reaction with the Botanics eye cream, honestly it was awful just like you described.

I don't have a receipt so plan to take it back but I'm waiting for the prices to go back up as the Botanics range is on offer just now.

Maybe we should ring CS, would be nice to have it noted that people are having problems as its supposed to be dermatalogically tested, maybe get more than just money back that way !

I don't know about this, whenever I've taken stuff back to Boots without a receipt it's always a major hassle, the tills don't recognise it and the SA look disapprovingly at me. :o
I'm only wanting an excahnge but I hate it although have quite a few things to return so always try and use a store I'm not likely to visit again to do an exchange.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time

    OFF TOPIC
This made me laugh geordie_lass. Had a potentially similarly embarrassing situation with my younger DS tonight. His biology homework was to research about antenatal checks (?!!) so I googled it for him and we went into a website - the text looked informative, but round the edge of the page were adverts - one in particular that caught my eye was for a v!br*t*r!! I didn't know wkere to look - I'm all for open-ness, but perhaps this is a bit much for a 13 year old boy to sully his lovely (!) little mind with - or am I being naive?!!

SORRY FOR OFF TOPIC - JUST WANTED TO SHARE AND HOPEFULLY MAKE SOMEONE SMILE!
Clare, believe me, he probably already knows :rotfl:

Health and sex education has changed a lot since I was at school, thank goodness. When DD was about 13 she came home with a colourful bag full of samples from school. I expected it to be sanitary protection but no, it was condoms. Not only that but they were ribbed and flavoured and came with sachets of lube. What initially shocked me was that she knew WHY they were ribbed and flavoured, and what the lube was for

Once I got over the shock I realised how much better it was that kids today get a much more rounded sex education than we ever did.

oh my gosh. getting condoms when you're 13 is too much, im sorry.
when i was in year 8/9 we had a "girl talk" by a few people who came in. they talked about menstruaton etc. they did not give us condoms. and they never have. i dont think its a clever idea. our teachers always tells us about this "company"(can't think of the actual word) who offer condoms to people who need it.
i dont think you should give it to such young children but give them the option.

I had a 'burning' reaction on my scalp with the Botanics Leave-in Thickening Conditioner. I was refunded instore, no problem.

There were 2 men's no7 GWP in Camden Boots (near Camden Town tube station) at around 5.30pm today. They also have reduced price foundation and powders left that work nicely with the three for two and perkies! :T
    Ebay: £34.68

I'm having problems with these perkies this year. I have treated myself to some some skin care so the money off was a bonus but last year I remember that toner etc was under a fiver. This year it's over.

There just doesn't seem to be any accessories in our local Mr B's either making it hard not to spend for the sake of using them.

Will have to become a regular reader on here I think and pick up all your tips as i'm obviously missing out by reading the last few pages lol.
