    Hi all

Do the Boots mags get posted out to Advantage Card holders or are they instore? Sorry to ask a dim question but I don't think I've ever seen any in my local, and I wouldn't mind picking up some Extracts with the extra points.

    Thanks in advance :o

They are instore. In the big stores they are often on stands dotted here and there, in smaller stores you might have to ask the SA at the tills for one.

Basically there is a coupon in this months Magazine for 150 Points when you buy an extract product, and some people have been lucky enough to get a second ACM voucher for 150 points, also when you buy extracts.

If you are lucky enough to get both, you can use them together and get 300 points on an extract purchase. They also work on the mini's, which are £1.60ish?? and therefore, you can get 300 points on a £1.60 spend.

That's the glitch as far as I know it....but most people have reported that getting an extract voucher, or more than one is quite difficult as they seemed to stop producing them once the magazine came out.

If you can get one, go for it! You also need a nice SA to put both vouchers through on the one item.....or a SS till :)

    HTH

**Edited to add - these are also 1/3 off at the moment, and the range is 'Boots Extracts' - yummy flavours like brazil nut, mango etc. There are body butters, body washes and a few other items in the range.

Went to Cribbs this afternoon. Managed to get a No7 Gentle Renewing No Grains Exfoliator £4.30 on clearance and used a perky to pay!!

Hi, Angie. Well done on getting the no-grains exfoliator - saw these on clearance a couple of weeks ago but only bought one, wish I'd used all my purkies on them now. Didn't see any more when I went in on Monday - were they on clearance or just on the No7 stand, please?
    TIA

I love this too and still have a few that I have saved from the glitch a few years ago. I remember there was 2 botanics glitches. One was 'get free botanics golden glow WYB any shaving product' and the other was 'get a free botanics cream WYB any botanics product. The bodybars were very popular and soon disappeared from every store around the country:rotfl: oh, I just love the old glitches:D
    .
Thats right Sally. I mixed up the two offers. I had several lots of razors which my husband would not use - he thought they were awful so I gave them to a charity shop. I still have some of the Botanics soap left from the other one and also the wash pad things are still in the cupboard too, they were the next cheapest things when the soap had all gone. I am also now using my last Botanics Golden Glow. Those were the days. It just seemed to be one thing after the other.

Its THESE Boots extracts product here
They are 1/3 off at the moment so the cheapest products are the mini sized body washes £1.62. (not found in every store) next cheapest product is the lipbam £2.28
At the back of the Boots heath and beauty magazine there is a voucher for 150 points on any boots extract. If you are very lucky you may also get a voucher from the acm for 150 points on any boots extracts. So for very little spend there is a potential 300 points (SA willing, but till doesn't beep) The vouchers work on the Self Serve tills if you don't have any willing SA's! hth

Wow! I hope this is national, it's DS1's favourite too.

    A-Bootsing I shall go...:D

Hi babes. She said it was only in this store at the moment. A promotion to try and shift stock. Someone elsewhere said these were being sold at £9.50ish a few weeks ago, but could not find them anywhere else. Keep your peepers peeled in the Perfume section where they keep the 1/2 price stuff. Anyway, got 2 x Dunhill London with my horde of points. Hope you find some soon. If not, let me know, could get you some if I am going to Leeds again in the next few days.

Got 6 x Extract Mini's. Took 2 at a time to the SS till and explained to the SA that I had coupons to use and she was like GO FOR IT. I was like HOLY COW! Normally some SA's are really moose like, but this one is a treasure! Not really keen on the smell, but they come to good use. I have used 1 x mini Body Butter in 3 days. Ooops! Get me indeed. LOL. Anyway, got tart loads of extra points, thanks to the Bootsing Beauties that kindly sent me the vouchers. Hugs and Kisses to them. Used some more points to get MaxiMuscle protein shakes. Here's to the new look Mimi! My arms were almost breaking at this point as I had gym kit with me, clothes from Diesel and all my Bootsing stuff! Oh and thanks to everyone that THANK ME for my posts. I've got more than 5000 thanks from you lovely lot, and that is just wicked!

Then went to MILLIES COOKIES with a voucher for buy 6 get 6 free (join the Millie's club online), and used my Bite Card for a further 20% off cos it was a train station (google Bite Card and apply for one), so got 12 x cookies for £3.19. Mom, the others, nephew and neice will be happy tomorrow. My room is now totally stocked up with all kinds of junk and I feel so happy for it. Go me! And on top of that, Dad seems to be making wonderful progress.

Have a gorge weekend all, and don't forget to put some lotion on so you don't burn. Enjoy. (PS. Sorry if I seem to have gone on with this post, I'm just so happy, well I am at the moment, woohoo!).

thought i would take DD6 in her pram today (instead of her royal mini highness doing things her own way and walking,) as i thought it would be quicker without her stopping to sniff everything and picking up minis'.big mistake:eek: little madam kept throwing her shoes, hat and blanket off ,quite distracting when you are trying to work out the best way to spend £18.00 on the 342,use a perkie and get the GWP which by the way there where lots of on TUESDAY,anyway when i eventually fathomed it out,i soon realised that there were NO GWPs anywhere
where have they all gone  .do you reckon they will all mysteriously re-appear when the 342 and perkies finish

on the bargain front,a few FCUK weekend bags £5.75 and some sanctuary sets £3.50.they were also going to reduce a load of toothbrushes and toothpaste later today.
went home quite harrased,( DD6 lost her hat) but with a no7 file and buff -free with perkie
2 botanics facial sets-£1.84 each reduced from £4.84 and a macleans whitening gel for 50p and a vicks inhaler £2.12 earnt another perkie so got another file and buff (decided to put them with S&G handcream mini for teachers at the end of term)
ended up spending £6.30 used my perkies, earned 24 points but saved myself £15.78.

Just saw quite a lot of DUNHILL LONDON 50ml EDT at half price £15.52. Bargain-alicious. Going to use points on them as this is my favourite fragrance.

Check out the sun today! I mean whoa nelly. Summer is on it's way. Woohoo.

i have to say that you have made me chukkle with this post mimi (and thats not easy at the moment)

i think that bargain-alicious and whoa nelly should be compulsary slang for all bootsers.

    thanks for making me smile.:D
