    Hi all! :hello:

I'm a bit miffed really.......... I just received my .com order for the Slim Fast smoothies (2 huge boxes with loads of brown paper in them) I had also ordered some Pantene Shampoo & Conditioner (2 for £4) but when I opened up the second box............. the shampoo didn't even have a lid on it, and it's completely covered the whole lot and the cardboard box is all soggy.

I have phoned Customer Services, and the lady said she would refund the Shampoo(£2)........................ and that was it! No appology, no 'have a nice day' nothing.
Now I have heaps of cleaning up of shampoo-y bottles of Slim Fast, and no 'sorry' or anything

Maybe I'm just being stupid, but I just thought an apology on behalf of their courier or something would have been nice.

Has anyone had this happen too? :(

This has happened to me. I know some people get all kinds but I never do. All I have ever had is the same response as you. It was always a case of just send it back then.

I once had a package where a bottle of foot refresher thingy (really acidic smelling) spilt over the whole order which was ruined. It had EA listicks in as well. The house reeked of the stuff. I was just told to send it back. I bet the RM sorting office neded gas masks to deal with it, as it was all sopping wet. I had all the effort of repackaging it and taking it to the post office in a fresh box though.

My order of laundry stuff leaked last week also, fabric conditioner everywhere. I had to wash all the bottles. I never even bothered to ring them up. Its a waste of time and a high rate phone call. I just come off the phone more frustrated.

Some people are just lucky I guess, but not me, or you by the sound of it.:confused:

Anyway, got back to Boots and there was a commotion at the door – a woman on a bike and a man were having a bit of a scuffle, lots of people rubbernecking. I went inside to check out the ACM (nothing at all exciting there) and this woman was shouting 'let me go', the security alarm kept going off and the bloke was trying to get here in but she was having none of it! She had a holdall full of stuff that she'd nicked:eek: !!! She was trying to get the security bloke to let go of her arm but he wasn't stupid! I think she tried to scarper then but security came from everywhere and dragged her off! Sorry for the o/t but that's the most excitement to be seen in Boots for a while! Plus, why on earth would anyone want to nick the stuff when we can get it for free legally! ;)

How exciting!!! I've never seen anyone nicking anything in Boots but was on the bus on my way to Boots a few weeks back and saw a guy running very fast from Habitat clutching a tall lamp lol - he ran very fast and 2 SA's were chasing him and they caught him!!!!:rotfl:

Then went to MILLIES COOKIES with a voucher for buy 6 get 6 free (join the Millie's club online), and used my Bite Card for a further 20% off cos it was a train station (google Bite Card and apply for one), so got 12 x cookies for £3.19. Thanks for your all your help on this Karen The Fort had a fine collection of the new accessories. Picked up a keyring and 3 cardholders. No foldaway bags unfortunately but I was still happy with my lot. Got so excited about getting those that I forgot to look for anything else :o. I must try harder. I am a novice compared to you guys and I am sure Wee Bug's trip will be way more exciting than mine so will need to keep an eye out for her report on that.

You're very welcome gingerbud-glad youre happy.. There were 3 ladies around them when i was in and i felt like grabbing and hiding some bits for you guys :o
Btw-im a total newbie too-actually used to think i was a bit of a Bootser until i found this thread-these guys are pros and im very much a learner but really glad i could help you in a small way..xxx

That'll be the drunken partying from last night that's making you dizzy Polls;)

I am always dizzy Angie, but I am never boring (I hope) I am the one that people point at in the street, and say look at that old woman doing that, or wearing those hippy clothes :rotfl: :rotfl:

When me and My OH were young, we used to look at old couples holding hands and say I wonder if we will be like that one day Ahhhhhhh.

And yes, now we are little oldish people, still holding hands.

Now I see young couples looking at us and whispering and I know what they are thinking ;)What goes around comes around
