How exciting!!! I've never seen anyone nicking anything in Boots but was on the bus on my way to Boots a few weeks back and saw a guy running very fast from Habitat clutching a tall lamp lol - he ran very fast and 2 SA's were chasing him and they caught him!!!!:rotfl:

I I had a bit of a Bootsing spree today.
Went with the intention of getting rid of my 6 perkies - but have come back with 7!
In amongst other things I got
No7 - shopping Bag
No7 - gloves
No7 keyring photo thing
No7 credit card holder.
Got some clearance items and topped up phone( 2 seperate £5 topups) so came out with more perkies.
have to tell you about the cheek of the Chelmsley Wood Boots.
They have an offer on at the moment. Spend £20 on fragrances and you can "pick a gift for 1p" - the 1p gift being..... either the old max factor GWP, the Olay purple Gwp and a few other ones that were going through the tills free. I have never saw these in this store before so think they have held them back on purpose. There are no ss tills so can not even grab one and try it myself.I may have lupus but it doesnt make me useless! I am a true believer in Karma, and am a typical cancerian. I have a hard outside, but am mushy on the inside.:o0 -

Sorry to post off-topic, but thats just reminded me of a late-night shopping trip to the big Asda near me! I used to work shifts & calling in on my way home from work at midnight was always an adventure!! The sights I'd see....!
I was in there one night (a while ago, when the latest you could buy alcohol was 11pm) & there was this commotion behind me - I turned round only to see something which looked like a scene out of Phoenix Nights - a man in a wheelchair, speeding out of the alcohol aisle, being chased by several security guards & all you could hear (over the squeaking of the wheels!) was the rattle of glass bottles! :rotfl: I lost sight of them as he headed towards the exit, but I always wondered if he made it out of the store!! I've never seen a wheelchair move so quickly, there must've been smoke coming off the wheels! It was a true "Brian Potter" moment!
S xxEverything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0 -

I never even bothered to ring them up. Its a waste of time and a high rate phone call. I just come off the phone more frustrated.
Some people are just lucky I guess, but not me, or you by the sound of it.

Hi Pollsdolls... U can ring Mr B's CS using the Notts no which is available on 'SayNoto0870' site where u find all sorts of different nos to the ones starting with 0845 and 0870 (as I'm on cable it costs me a bomb to ring the 0845 nos let alone the 0870 ones! )... I generally ring B's CS on 0115 9182000 and choose from 1 of the options given... and I must say the responses to my 'issues' have been dealt with with a friendly ear... HTH0 -
I have been off this Bootsing thread for the past few weeks so just trying to catch up with it all now...Are there two separate boots threads now?
Does anyone know what products the no7 voucher works without a minimum spend? and will it work on make up? What do the accessories look like that people have been getting? I have tried to look back this thread but there is a lot to catch up on.....
I havent been bootsing for the past 2-3 weeks now but looking forward to a lot of catching up
TIA0
