    Hi all! :hello:

I'm a bit miffed really.......... I just received my .com order for the Slim Fast smoothies (2 huge boxes with loads of brown paper in them) I had also ordered some Pantene Shampoo & Conditioner (2 for £4) but when I opened up the second box............. the shampoo didn't even have a lid on it, and it's completely covered the whole lot and the cardboard box is all soggy.

I have phoned Customer Services, and the lady said she would refund the Shampoo(£2)........................ and that was it! No appology, no 'have a nice day' nothing.
Now I have heaps of cleaning up of shampoo-y bottles of Slim Fast, and no 'sorry' or anything

Maybe I'm just being stupid, but I just thought an apology on behalf of their courier or something would have been nice.

Has anyone had this happen too? :(
I think I would send it back.

I had an order of the WUL last week and that was packed really well, the bottles were in plastic bags to contain any leaks. It must depend on who packs the box.
  • Afternoon all, managed to "spend" some of my perkies with minimal/ no spend today which is amazing as no accesories in my local. I got 4 lots intelligent balance day fluid and i wombled another perky. They were under £5 so all free. I do need to get some bottle teats and cuttlery etc for ds2 but am trying to delay it until the new voucher comes out:D.
Also have an olay gwp and no7 gwp Mens & womens as well as loreal gwp all looking to go on exchange trips:D.

O/T Ethel austins has got 20% of absolutely everything including sale items, got some nice baby clothes for gifts and candles that were £5 for £1.60 and they are gorgeous. HTH
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)

    Hi Kittyde :hello:
    *whispers back lol*

Yes this should work fine :D Also you could get 3 for 2 on ladies No 7 and still qualify for the mens gwp- it doesn't have to be products from the mens range, although I think these would be the cheapest way to get the gwp. So you could get 3 x wipes, nail varnish, mens products, whatever takes your fancy, the till would see a spend of over £18 so the mens gwp would go through without beeps. Then the till deducts the 3 for 2, and then finally hand over your No 7 voucher :D

There is an out of date points voucher in the mens gwp- I think it expired in January. Some stores are still honouring those vouchers as they are still "selling" the gwp, so is worth asking next time or calling customer services :)

I have just successfully done 342 wipes, used perkie and got gwp at a normal till. Went through no probs, although I did buy a couple of extra things, essential like chocolate :D, to try and diaguise it a bit. :D:D
Glad you managed to disguise the[STRIKE] Choocie bar[/STRIKE] I mean the gwp. :)
I expect that the Chocolate didn't make it in to your Boots stash did it ;)

Hi PD ! That's exactly what I was wondering - but then, would it apply if they'd used 2 perkies (one for each packet of wipes) ?
Also, I'm completely miffed ! I've been after the No7 GWP for ages, but have been too mean to spend the required amount to get it (so I'm obviously not THAT bothered :) ). And my local has had tonnes of overflowing shelves full of the little blighters. BUT then the day the 3 for 2 started there wasn't any to be seen anywhere - shelves stripped bare. What have they done with them all ??? What a swizz !!!
It was only after I'd worked out my 3 for 2 No7 manouvre (sp?) and went to reach for a GWP that I realised they'd gone !!

I have a spare. PM me if you want it ;)

Went to my local boots today.

Tried to use my magazine voucher on a mini extracts and was told no...
Left with 2 packs of number 7 wipes:(

I had a probem with a mini but that was because I picked up a mediterranean one not an extracts. Nearly the right product but not quite.

i got this voucher for the dove intensive range but the cheapest i saw was £4xx so wasnt worth it,i thought it was quite expensive for something i didnt need or want so left it,typical it runs out before the new offers start, minght have been worth it then

    Hi everyone,
After posting this morning before my visit to my local about the GWP and 2 x reduced compacts and wipes , typically my store had no GWP or reduced compacts in the colour I wanted so I just brought two lovely nailvarnishes (in 2 seperate transactions) in the colour 'vivid violet' which I have given to my mum and sister wrapped and ready in a basket each (my first attempt) for Mother's Day.
I used the voucher for the dove intensive range on some handcream which was £2.99 and the SA at the till said she thought it wouldn't go through and was surprised when it worked (it was in the 'intensive range' though!!) so £1.49 to pay... The £4... lotion was OOS anyway...

On another note have any of you Bootsers been to the London Colney Boots recently as DH has asked me if I want a trip over to London Colney on Sunday for Mother's Day (I'm getting out of cooking Sunday Roast too!!) and I said yes (if I can pop into Boots!!) Are there any No7 GWP, reduced foundations etc..accessories (keyring, mirror etc...) in this store and do they have any putting sets, and other GWP - L'oreal, Olay etc... worth looking out for?
Many many thanks in advance.... and I hope you all have a lovely weekend Bootsing and lovely Mother's Day too.....
  • Hi all

Do the Boots mags get posted out to Advantage Card holders or are they instore? Sorry to ask a dim question but I don't think I've ever seen any in my local, and I wouldn't mind picking up some Extracts with the extra points.

    Thanks in advance :o

Hi, you pick them up in store, but it is a bit of a lottery as to whether they have them, My large local has run out and say they will not be getting any more, but a smaller on 2 mins away is over flowing with them
They are usually in a card stand on an end of aisle or piled up by the tills, you could always ask a friendly SA to find you one.
