That's exactly what it does - if the total of the drink + snack+ sandwich comes to less than £2.99 then you get it for the reduced price, but it still counts as a meal deal when it comes to the buy 5 in a month and get one free. If sandwich + snack + drink come to more than £2.99 the discount kicks in and you automatically get it for £2.99 (or £3.49 in London I think). Its basically still a meal deal either way, just the meal deal price is £2.99 or the total, whichever's cheaper.

I didn't think it would be reduced. Would be interesting to see what the till receipt said for MillyMolly. Maybe it takes into account the full normal cost of the drink and snack and if they all total less than £2.99 (or £3.49 in some parts of the country) then it will do that reduced amount.

Hi I bought 75p sandwiches, Large 1 litre mineral water 46p (health club disc) and a reduced ruit ad seed bar 35p - total £1.56 and on the bottom of the receipt it said about the meal deal so it does work - just watch that the SA puts the correct prices through though!!!!

This works well then for getting your 6th meal free within a calender month. If you're lucky enough keep getting the reduced sandwiches and then get the full price set as your 6th.

Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds isn't Elizabeth Arden, is it?? Please correct me if I'm wrong. It's just that I've noticed it listed on dot com as Elizabeth Arden's White Diamonds, whereas the picture clearly shows it to be Elizabeth Taylor.

It's included in the 'get 1000 points when you buy 2 Elizabeth Arden products' offer anyway
This reminds me of the time people were getting Dior bonus points on Dioralyte :D

ETA White Diamonds is an Elizabeth Arden product though, maybe endorsed by Elizabeth Taylor or something
  • in my quest to buy an electric toothbrush i remembered i had a the ac mailing coupons so got one of the new whitening sonicare toothbrushes half price - down to £52

then used £5 off electrical coupon
350 wys £40 or more coupon
250 wys £25 or more from acm
    double points coupon

the lovely sa who served me was shocked i was able to use them all - he had a good look at my receipt before giving it to me saying 'you've saved over ten pounds with all those!'

then he said 'ah but you could have used your points and got it for free' i replied, but then i wouldn't have got all those lovely new points to spend

i could almost see a light bulb going on above his head - bless him
