    Managed a small shop yesterday...

    No7 Soft & Soothed Gentle cleanser £7.30
    Bourjois Powder Brush £4.84

Used perky + 250pt No7 skincare voucher + Pooey = £5.16 to pay +258pts + new pooey! I managed to womble another pooey on the way out too!

Anyone know why I only got 8 normal points - shouldn't it have been 20?

The elizabeth arden bag WYB 3 items doesn't even seem to be out here - apperently it only starts on Wed here! Odd... Oh and the R&M buy2 items and get the makeup bag free offer at the same store is only on the wee red cosmetic purses only. I wanted the purple one but apparently definitely not possible - the SA was adament and kinda rude about this point when I was contemplating buy some R&M stuff (and wanting the purple bag) so I left it... Do the SAs just make it up as they go along?? :wall:

I've noticed points aren't allocated the same way they used to be as well. It seems that if you get bonus points (such as the 250 point No7 voucher) you get that instead of the normal points. Also I'm sure we used to get 1 point for every 25p spent, so 3 for 75p spend etc., but now it's only on whole pounds, so your 8 points I guess would be from the £2.84 which didn't qualify for a voucher or bonus points, if you can understand what I'm trying to say

I've just been having a look around on MSE (apparently, there are other boards to read??!!) and have seen that the Forums are all going to be unavailable this coming weekend. Which kind of scuppers my plans for a wonderfully self indulgent weekend of having as long as I like on the PC, without OH/DSs whinging about my time wasting. They are all off on two different rugby tours, leaving me home alone - it was going to be me, some crips, a box of choccies, a bottle of wine and my cyber Bootsing friends.

I won't know what to do with myself now....

    Hiya

The way the Bootsing offers are at the minute .. this forum will be very quiet until new offers/vouchers etc come on ... so looks like you will have time to pamper yourself instead :D :j

I love the EL double wear, its as though you have nailed it on in the morning!!!

Also MINERAL foundations....can anybody recommend one for fair skin??

not sure wether to go for one of these istead of EL double wear?
I can recommend Lily Lolo or Elemental Beauty for mineral foundations.

Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds isn't Elizabeth Arden, is it?? Please correct me if I'm wrong. It's just that I've noticed it listed on dot com as Elizabeth Arden's White Diamonds, whereas the picture clearly shows it to be Elizabeth Taylor.

It's included in the 'get 1000 points when you buy 2 Elizabeth Arden products' offer anyway

    Hi Everyone,

I did a couple of very small shops today, but I haven't reccouperated yet from being on buses for 2½ hours .. travelled over 30 miles for erm .. not that much.. lol... :rotfl: I won't be doing that again... will post later.

SA didn't know when the new vouchers were coming out, so that's no good, so I think I might stay grounded... from mr.b's for a while lol cos there isn't much tempting us. :rotfl: :rotfl:

managed to get 2 meal deals in Glasgow train station ( paid £4.42 for them both as sandwixhes reduced;) ) /quote]

Hi I often wonder if you can use reduced sandwiches as part of a meal deal. I often get the sandwiches for 75p. How much would a meal deal cost if the sandwich was 75p.
    Thanks
Starting to save £2 coins again, but it is a struggle:rotfl:Not doing very well keep spending them
  • Hi Everyone,

I have just read in my local paper that Boots @ Canterbury are have a special Mavala (nails varnish!) day & are giving away FREE file & polish & french manicures to celebrate their Anniversay! I don't know if its just Canterbury! It maybe worth checking out some of the bigger branches to see if they are doing it too! Its my birthday tomorrow so I might just pop in & chance my luck!

Thanks geordie_lass and Bellydancer! I thought that might be what happened...

Oh... does anyone have a recommendation on a concealer I could get to cover the dark bags under my eyes? Preferably a budget (after pooey?) one as I've spent a fortune recently - though I do have ~£10+ in pts I could use if necessary. I have the bobby brown creamy concealer at the moment but its almost finished and a bit too pricy to buy myself (It was a gift).

    Thanks in advance!

I didn't think it would be reduced. Would be interesting to see what the till receipt said for MillyMolly. Maybe it takes into account the full normal cost of the drink and snack and if they all total less than £2.99 (or £3.49 in some parts of the country) then it will do that reduced amount.
