I've got another question! I'm looking for gold coloured disposable/semi disposable tablecloths (for my wedding reception!) - as they will go much better with my colours for the day than the plain white linen offered by the venue - has anyone seen any in the shops at all? There were loads in Tescos etc before Christmas (when I wasn't engaged!) and now I don't seem to be able to find any! (I've tried the party shop in Bletchley, the nearest they've got is a big roll of gold paper, which I might have to go for in the end)

Anyway, I'll stop rambling, thank you all for your time!

i had my 40th last yr and i was astonished at the cost of table clothes. whilst i was looking in one of the curtain shops just browsing i saw rolls of material like end of rolls etc in the exact colour scheme i was using and i got it for a quarter of the price in the party shops.

The Garage in Wolverton (on the Old Wolverton Road) - very helpful and honest - told me that my brakes on my car didn't need doing for at least a year, when my car dealer told me that they "were in very poor condition and needed doing immediately"... lovely chaps down there... very reasonable on prices.

If you are talking about who I think then I can highly recommend these. They are called Arden Park, phone no. 01908 222520
If you ever need any work done on your car, MOT, service or anything I highly recommend them. I have been using them for about a year and hubbie for 4 years! My very first car was broken into and the lock damaged about 2 yrs ago when I lived in bletchley and they put a new lock in for me for £30!

Also, my friend had a MOT done at the dealer garage and they quoted him £400 for repairs, I gave him the number for arden park and they did it for £200!! The funny thing was arden park did the MOT anyway because the dealer outsources - can you believe the mark-up!

    Hope that helps

    Kat x

Arden Park are tucked around the back of "The Garage", but I daresay the two interlink their sales and recommendations.

You have Motorserv, then The Garage to the left, and then the Arden Park garage around the back... all three very helpful and professional...

BTW Kat - which Dealership was that? Not a fairly local Renault one, or an equally local Japanese one, was it??

Costco is over in Kingston, which if I am correct is the East MK it is near junction 13 from Ikea you will have to take the v7 to coffeehall roundabout and take a right onto H8 Standing Way keep gonig straight until you reach Brinklow roundabout where the H8 meets the V11, you should see Mc Donalds and others. Costco is past Victoria BMW and near to VW showroom.

Actually it's nearer to Junction 14 (but I'm picky :rotfl:)

This is the way I would go:
From Ikea, exit left (ie not past Asda!), down to the "big Roundabout"! Take an immediate left to bring you around the back of Ikea and Asda (onto the V7 Saxon Stree), and at the next roundabout turn right onto the H9 Groveway.

Follow the H9 Groveway until you get to the V11 Tongwell Street. Turn left.

Go straight over at the big Kingston Roundabout (H8) and at the next roundabout turn right onto the H7 Chaffron Way (by the Mercedes garage and the new Bloor homes). Then you come to a roundabout that you *have* to turn right at and you will see Costco on the right hand side (and Tesco Kingston in front in the distance).

Wrote all that and realised that you're coming in from Aylesbury - not from Ikea!!!

JockettUK - Do you come in via Buckingham (A421?). If so - you'll come in onto the H8 Standing Way - keep going straight ahead on that until you get to the V11 Tongwell Street and follow the directions as above.

If you're coming in from M1 Junction 13 or 14 - then you just have to get yourself to the V11...
