im going for a h/a house exchange to a 4 bedroom house on OLDBROOK, Bridgeford court.
does any one know what the area is like please?
im so worried im making the wrong move if the housing estae is a rough estate :j0 -
Not familiar with Bridgeford but while there are some nice quiet corners in Oldbrook, it has gone downhill in the past couple of years in terms of violent incidents. Main problem is probably that part of Oldbrook borders Fishermead which can be quie a war zone. Overall the location of Oldbrook is very convenient and if you're lucky enough to have good neighbors then you're lucky indeed. Best thing might be for you to visit the area around your prospective new home a few times at different times of the day, see what it's like and talk to a few people. There is a nice big park opposite the Cricketeers pub on Oldbrook Blvd and you can easily find mums pushing their babies in pushchairs and talk to them about the area.0

I have to be honest with you.. Oldbrook is not a desirable area, but that is just my opinion.

Traciemk it depends where you are coming from, and bits of Oldbrook are better than others. I wouldn't have an expensive car here though. You are of course close to the city centre. This signature is not mine!0
