Options
Hi all :-)

This was so popular! I didn't realise that so many people on this board lived in MK, just think.. we've probably walked past each other in the Centre:MK eons of times!

Anyway, new thread - please use this one instead, I've requested that our original thread be locked (it was getting too long!)

Cheers

Zoë

Have you looked in the Citizen? they have a wedding spread in the GO section I think.

And they have a wedding fair in Middleton Hall at the minute, actually not sure if it is still on.

FYI - Saw yesterday at Tesco Kingston, on the ground floor at their CD's/DVD's/Games clearance shelves opposite the main enterence, they have CD's of wedding music for 97pence.
Also at least two chillout/relaxation music CD's at the same price, which may be of use after the anniversary... :)

They were talking on the local radio a few weeks ago about low-cost wedding dresses being available on eBay. Not all are used. Some are new, possibly from cancelled weddings, unfulfilled orders and the like.

    yes i agree
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

  • Hi Tracie,

I'm in MK and arranging my wedding for early May - I can highly recommend a friend of mine who is making my bouquet, buttonholes, table decorations etc - she does it part time as she works full-time, and she's extremely talented!! (Which is very lucky for me!!!) She's done several weddings, some quite large, and I could PM you her details if you would like? Not trying to force you to use her, but hope the recommendation may help!

I can also highly recommend the Debenhams dresses - there is a section on the very lowest floor for evening wear, and they have some lovely wedding dresses there (the actual bridalwear section is on an upper floor). Don't forget you can get 10% off if you open an account!

    Hope some of this helps,

    Allie
