Does anyone know of any poundshops in MK? I am trying to get some cheap padded envelopes for my amazon book sales. I tried Wilko's but they only had the really big ones. Otherwise I will have to trek out to Bedford where they have 'Poundland'
I ask at work if anyone gets sent stuff from Play.com can I have their envelopes, they usually say yes.

Try walking along Queensway in Bletchley - there's lots of cheap shops there.
the Agora centres in Bletchley or Wolverton?
There's Wilko in Northampton, in Gold Street - Good luck getting parked!
Northampton isn't too bad, it's got a Primark! Although, I got mugged in Northampton about 4 years ago so I don't go anymore.

Did I hear right that there's gonna be a Primark in MK?

It's not a pound shop as such but Rock Bottom on Cambridge St (I think) off Queensway in Bletchley. They usually have pretty cheap padded envelopes in the far left hand corner of the shop. :)
Could you do with a Money Makeover?

Thanks meeps, it doesn't matter that you were late, I will look in westcroft too next time I am there.

Thanks ms andrea, I didn't go in rockbottoms coz I got them in poundland but I will compare prices next time I am in there.

Thanks Louisa Jane - you were right it is poundland in the brunel centre, I haven't been in there for many months, its funny but poundland don't have it on their store locator!! How gutted I would have been if I went all the way to bedford for some cheap envelopes to find that we have one in MK. It's pretty good actually, ended up spending more than I should. Got the cheap envelopes so if anyone needs them thats the place to go, cheaper than wilkos envelopes too.

My OH tells me that in M&S in the (city) centre today, they were selling off cool bags for 19p...

A load of people at her work bought several each... not sure how many will be left over by the time I get there tomorrow.........

Apparently they're a "decent size" (so bigger than a two-drink-can-holder then).

Someone put a flyer on my car windscreen a couple of weeks ago announcing a new afternoon indoor carboot sale at the Lakes Estate which supposedly started last week - Has anyone been to it? Is it any good?
