Well done Andy for putting it towards your PAD
As a matter of interest , would you have paid this mega amount off your Egg card if you hadn't been doing PAD ?....

Thanks guys! In answer to the question - absolutely not! It would have gone and been frittered away in a few weeks, maybe on a holiday, shopping, going out, silly things...... 7. Montevideo, Uruguay Average cost of living £500 p/month
6. Bangalore, India £450 p/m
5. Karachi, Pakistan £400 p/m (A suit here costs £16 apparently)
4. Manila, Phillippines £350 p/m (A can of beer here is 30p)
3. Buenos Aires, Argentina £220 p/m
2. Harare, Zimbabwe £200 p/m (Don't fancy this one)
1. Asuncion, Paraguay £135 p/m
Well, might not be quite right ( I am from Paraguay and should know!) but not too far off. Trouble is, with the current low exchange rate (£ isn't worth very much these days!), £135 wouldn't get you very far, even in Paraguay. You would need about double that, and even so be quite tight with money
But it still is probably the cheapest (and most beautiful:D) place to live - so, what exactly am I doing here???? Anyone looking to emigrate, just shout...:rotfl:LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

Afternoon all
Gosh I had a fright earlier on as I bookmark the threads and when I opened up the one I had bookmarked yesterday it said "Closed" . I had to quickly go to the last post to see what had happened - wondered if we had been closed as we had rebelled and been put back on the main 'debt free' page and not the diaries:rotfl:
Anyways here I am £2.50 fo PAD for me today. Payday is next Tuesday and I am pretty skint til then as I was ploughing every penny into my tesco card earlier in the month.
Have a few bits to come in between now and the end of the month and I am determined to follow the Grocery Challenge and NSD Challenges next month. I did them in January and February and they really help to keep me on track, however in March I have been extremely remiss in keeping up to date with them.
Andy - well done on getting that deposit back and paying it towards your egg card - a big change to the total on 1 April :T
thevinternet - well done on getting to the dentist and glad its over. At least you know what you are dealing with now and your dentist sounds lovely.
Twinkle - hope your OH's op goes okay.
We have had a gorgeous day here today and I have had two loads of washing out on the line today and two yesterday - so suppose I'd better go and do some ironing now - oooh goody can hardly contain myself. Have a good afternoon/evening all.0 -

I was stupid enough to give up chocolate. My snack of choice is temporarily rivita with garlic and herb philadelphia.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Thanks for being so welcoming.
My first PAD is 102.45
A bit of a cheat since I was due to make a payment of 100 today anyway!
The rest is pocket change which is going in a jar.
At the moment all PADs are going towards paying off credit cards.
I'm just trawling through my budget and am going to try and PAD as much as I can until I'm debt free!!
My lent give up has been magazines and clothes!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0
