£5.50 for me to Egg today.
I had some great news yesterday that we are getting a bonus paid into our March salary next week - very lucky the way things are going in the economy but I'm really pleased.
Danko - no crisps, but I usually get involved in some cheese and onions down the pub! I think your OH works with oil in some way.....
Vin - really glad the dentist was good for you !
Silaqui - I forgot there were two mighty Leicester fans on the thread !! BLUE ARMY!! I don't get to see them very often now living down here but I am making the trip to Southend away mid April :j
Have a fun Thursday all

Morning everyone!
Danko - i'm thinking along the gas / oil lines too, some sort of contracts manager?
Terri - love the pic of the 'classy bird'. She actually had a really nice, classy looking tweed suit on. It was a full length fitted skirt with a short fitted jacket. She had a nice bag too! You would have looked at her and thought she was fairly well off. But hey, money doesn't buy decency does it? I shall be scared for life lol
Jo - good luck with your next mission on the b'clay mastercard! Go get 'em
Twinkle - hope your OH's ops go okHe'll be your new bionic man when he comes out

I 'm going to join in to pay money towards getting debt free.
I'll probably put aside the money and total it/ pay it off weekly. I guess once I get started I can figure out the best way for me.
Any tips welcomed! Are people literally paying a few pounds off credit cards each day?

Welcome along Jellie! Yes, we are just paying a few pence or a few pounds each day to Credit cards, loans, savings funds or whatever else takes your fancy! It's very addictive! When you post it up here, you make it really obvious, ie put it in bold and/or in a big font. That way the people who count up all the PADs have an easier life!
I'm personally tackling my Egg Credit Card first, as it has the most interest out of any of my debts. Good luck with whatever you try to clear.
PAD £2.34 today to Egg Card.
Daily Coffee Update: Day 23 of Lent - my brother took me to a shop that sold fresh coffee yesterday - the smell drove me mad!! But I resisted....just. Only 17 days to go, yay!!
Is anyone else still doing any challenges for Lent?

Hi ya Jellieand welcome to the madhouse ! ....
Good luck with your payment a day, either small or large it's surprising how quickly it all adds up .... Everybody is really great on here which really helps to keep you motivated ...
Some people that can access internet banking either pay a small amount off each day ( even the odd £1 or even less ) ..... or save the amount and pay it off at the end of the week . There are people on this thread that are debt free and are using their PADs' ( payment a day ) to increase their savings ....
It just depends which way is the easiest for you....
