    Morning All,
Just a small one from me today because I have just spent £54 on my mot and have been told that it needs £70 worth of work doing to it. :( It also needs taxing and insuring at the end of the month. :(

Right then Pad today: £1.20 to the savings account and £2.59 to the Milan fund

    Total of
    £3.79
    for today. :)

Day 2 of self-imposed SW diet, DD18 is reluctantly on board although already moaning about the menu - altho we are doing green days, she refuses to eat pasta or rice  Some faddy rubbish idea she has picked up somewhere that they 'aren't good for you', altho she is at least eating spuds, whew:D
Have you tried her on brown rice and brown pasta? Both apparently better for you!

    Hi Guys,

Thank you for all your messages.

I've got some happy/sad news...I had the baby on Sunday night, he was born a healthy 7lb 4oz and 54cms. I was only at the hospital for an hour or so before he arrived (spontaneous vaginal delivery so basically he just shot out when no-one was expecting it) however he isn't quite the baby I was expecting. When he was given to me I asked the midwives what was wrong with him, they looked at him and took him away, he was diagnosed with Downs shortly after. I got to take him home yesterday but I'm still in a bit of a state of shock about it and have taken it quite badly and couldn't bring myself to talk about it, even typing about it is making me cry.

So all you preganat ladies out there...even if your blood test comes back that you're a low risk for Downs and should be in the age category that 'it doesn't happen to' then please remember that I'm only 23 and I've have already had a perfectly 'normal' baby and that Downs can happen to anyone xxx

P.s My pad for today is £30.00 to make up for missing yesterday.
