If they want to collect .... somehow " discourage " them from paying by paypal ....
Paypal is fine if you are going to post items to a buyer ....( because to be covered for a Paypal dispute you need a " tracking " number for the items that are posted ) ....
The problem with Ebay is that if a " dodgy " buyer pays by paypal and collects an item from you , they can notify paypal that they haven't received the item because you have no " tracking number " ..... hope this makes sense ? ..... if not let me know and i'll try and word it better ...

It's a blo*dy pain ! .... because you can't " not accept paypal " ..... Also you shouldn't put in your listing " cash only " or similar otherwise the " auction " may well be pulled off .... ( or be reported by another Ebayer ! )
You have to be so careful with collection only items .... even more so , if they are expensive ...

I only accept cash on collection, on pick ups, but it still seems bizarre. I'm selling brand new children's clothes in bundles according to age. Yes I've sold loads on ebay before but never had someone bid on such a wide range of ages wanting to pick up with a 0 rating.
In past experience 0 ratings usually bid on 1 maybe 2 items at most not 10- 15 bundles, if you KWIM.
I just hope i don't get burned i have a funny feeling the person wont pick up, with me left with items i thought i had sold but haven't or there is some other scam on pick up items, or i am being over paranoid!Total Debt 10/5/2009, £2189.10, 1/6/09 £1420.75

Hiya all, hope everyone is well!?!
PAD is only £1.80 to the sealed pot.... I have the money to pay off at least two cards, but some inconsiderate person put a Bank Holiday in the way, so don't wanna send the money just now
