A Payment a Day Part 3

Hi mumof4 - i've got 2 basic accounts. 1 with Halifax (it's actually a Bank of Scotland account) that you can do online banking with and faster payments with.
I also have a Natwest step account. I prefer this account, particularly because if i'm due to be paid on a Monday, i can get the money on the Saturday! Also, i find that if a company doesn't accept faster payments, like Npower, Natwest still deducts the money from my balance immediately, whereas BoS doesn't it waits til the next day
HTH x
Thanks Hopeful, very useful info.
Im just gonna go look on quidco now and see if I can get any cashback
Thanks very much for replying, just what I needed to know.Hope they accept me as I already have the kids accounts with Natwest.
Take care

You should be accepted no probs. My credit rating is shot to shreds! The natwest step acc is their basic no cheque bk / no od type of account. Good luckWHoops must get to work x

You're right Terri - I dread to think.
My pad today is only 50p, still waiting on various cashback/click money clearing so I can claim it and pay it off my debt.

Hi All
I have just been having a catch up on this thread in my lunch break and I notice that wolveslass () is counting payments to holiday fund as PADs. I have just started a holiday fund myself (paying bits into my ISA) and it didn't occur to me to count it as PADs.
Is anyone else doing this? Should I be counting it?!!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Everyone counts things differently, it's up to you. I didn't use to count the monthly loan payment, but my loan is now my only debt so I count it.
I also count money into my emergency savings, but not into my holiday fund.
I'm quite confusing...!0 -

I'm going to start counting my car tax stamps as pads so yeah I think you'll get away with it!!
Paul told me that some people count min payments whereas some don't, it's just your own personal preference I think or if you put money into a sealed pot and count it as a pad, it shouldn't really be counted again when you use it for cc or whatever as you've already counted it!Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10
