Last night i got a fair bit of e-baying done, when i got board i counted up all my change jars and i have £72 so i filled in the slip off the last statement and I'm paying it today off the evil MBNA.
So i think that will probably be my last big payment till hopefully some e-bay money comes in next week.(really must try and get alot more on today too!!!)
Not adding up my total debt again until the 1'st of each month then the hopefully big drop will keep me motivated.
See you tomorrow when i start back on the £1 a day, lol

    Total Debt 10/5/2009, £2189.10, 1/6/09 £1420.75
    1/7/09 £1661.66, after 2 holidays 1/9/09 £1725.36
    1/11/09 £1188.89

    Good morning guys

Almost HUMP day again (where is the time going? ):rotfl:

Would anyone mind telling me, my credit record is very carp but I need another current account so I can make Pads and separate my bill money from spending.Preferably one that has faster payments.Im currently with Lloyds and they only do telephone payments faster and its so frustrating.Anybody got any reccomendations please?

Hi mumof4 - i've got 2 basic accounts. 1 with Halifax (it's actually a Bank of Scotland account) that you can do online banking with and faster payments with.

I also have a Natwest step account. I prefer this account, particularly because if i'm due to be paid on a Monday, i can get the money on the Saturday! Also, i find that if a company doesn't accept faster payments, like Npower, Natwest still deducts the money from my balance immediately, whereas BoS doesn't it waits til the next day

  • Morning all,

Ive been away for a few days and have finally gone through all the 10 pages i needed to catch up on.

Apologies for anyone who i have missed but here goes....

Lemma - i know what you mean with work and i always find that once you start you will find that it wasn't as bad as it seemed (but lets roll on friday anyway)

Miss Thirthy - Well done on your OD:T

Pay back - congratulations - so exciting! :j

Jo41 - have just seen your Sig and its looking good

Smamfer- I have 2 jobs which i have been working for 12 months now and although it is hard work (upwards of 80hrs a week at its worst) and even though i have blown the money, now ive had a LBM, its good to have and it will help in the debt busting. I find that working hard and having a goal is worth it and also - if i get the hard work done now i wont have to do it in the future (even if some days i just rather go to bed (hope this make sense) :D

Terri - as always marvalous work with the totals

On friday i had a bit of a wobble re debt busting, which i am going to start a dairy about, but let just say i wasn't very happy with myself.

Am back on track i think now so my pad for the weekend was £2.97 to sealed tin

Pad for today is £10 to joint and £70 to friend Total £80

    Talk to you all soon
