hi all! been keeping up with the posts but haven't PADed for a few days now...congrats to all the milestones, hello to all the newbies, well done to everyone! hope the car gets sorted soon & yay to brother being home! (sure i've missed loads
but this thread has been really busy!!)
the builders have started today, so i will probably start PADing again properly once the work is done...
in happy/sad news, you may remember that my dear grandad passed away just before xmas. well, i didn't realise it, but my dad, uncle and aunt have been quietly wrapping up his affairs for a few months now and my dad rang me friday to say he has given me a bit of money. it will pretty much pay for the garage conversion, so we won't need to deplete our savings or "borrow" from the kids. so i had a good cry, then felt really lucky that my grandad must be shining down on us.
hope everyone has a good day, i'm feeling a bit blurgh (not sure if just the usual allergies or a bit of a cold) so having a lazy laptop day, getting all the accounts and stuff in order, and putting off doing my US tax forms again!
xxxMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Good morning all
Just a quick post.
PAD £10 to NW overdraft.
Received money brother owed me :j
Put cheque in new bank account that I set up recently (instead of building society account with overdraft) as I thought it would clear more quickly ....... but it still takes FIVE days to clear  Can draw on it next Monday and will siphon money off to reduce overdraft.
Feel I am now winning against all the odds with all your support. :T
Hope you all have a good day.
