So much sun, so little time :rotfl:.

Quite a long, boring post. Feel free to skip it if you wish :D

Hope your all enjoying the sun in-between the important business of padding :D.

Nikki :j on your wages. It's true what they say about good news coming in 3's :T.

tomtombeanie - can't really improve on F_F answer. 'Math' does sound a little odd. If you're now living in the UK, i hope you've learned to say 'maths' like us 'normal' people :rotfl: :p.

smamfer - 8 years texting? Didn't know the business had been going that long!. That's really good going, you must be super-fab at it :T. I enjoyed it while it lasted but felt a little uncomfortable with what i was doing sometimes :o. but it's a nice little earner for those with the right personality for the job.

lemma - :T on paying the dreaded VAT man and your on your weight-loss. I need to get my bum in gear too :o. The excess pounds won't go without a little effort from yours truely. But with so much chocolate in the world, what's a girl to do? ;)

Mumof4 - :j That's excellent news regarding your brother. He'll be back to his old self before long :j.

Cripes, you've reminded me, i have to check my Euro lotto, Green . There might be a cheque worth squillions with my name on it . Congrats on your win, don't spend it all at once! :T

Bigbeff, life is a pile of pants sometimes. Someone up there definitely loves to pull our plonk and watch us squirm :(. Hope you can sort something out.

Flippin' 'eck that was a long 'un. *As the nun said to the bishop*

Well done guys on your padding this weekend :T. No more pads from me until the direct debits go through.

Apologies for waffling on, i'll go now :D.

    Enjoy your day

afternoon all! thanks for the "maths" info, fresian. it seems the whole math/maths debate gets quite heated in other spots on t'interweb!

    http://sillysoft.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11374&highlight= (for one example!)

i'm quite happy to let you say maths, whilst i say math. :D i grew up with "math" and i feel silly saying it any other way. just like i say "vy-ta-min" not "vit-a min" and lots of other examples that i won't bore you with!

haven't PADed yet, but rest assured it will be a small amount today! xx
Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

Really pushing the boat out today with a PAD of more than a quid ;) .

    £1.02 to genetically modified cc.

EDITED TO SAY: Unfortunately my indebtedness has increased slightly. This is because each time I get a cc bill through, I add the interest to the debt straight away so I don't forget.
I haven't actually spent anything on credit (except for credit card DDs for phone and file storage) since early February. Even then it was for my tax bill and to replace essential business equipment that had broken. I do drift in and out of my overdraft though. It may not be possible to avoid this until I manage to reduce my debts further.

I just found 68p spare in my bills account so that's my 1st PAD for May. I have less than £1.50 in my bank until Wed but nothing to come out so it's gonna be small amounts each day till wed. But then again that's the whole point of this eh! Every penny counts and all that! :0)
    Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80
    Debt now Jan 2021 - £6,208.21
    Overpayment pot - £0

    :mad::mad::mad:

Have just got back from work, am working all weekend as i have been asking for extra hours, might as well have not bothered after whats just happened.
Went to my car after work and some complete moron has smashed into the side of my car!!! They have quite obviously done it when trying to park (or get out the space) and proceeded to scrape all the paint off the side of my car and leave a nice big dent. Needless to say the idiot didnt bother leaving any insurance details!!! Sometimes i dont know why i bother, all these extra hours are now going to be wasted on car repairs because someone cant park their car :mad:

    Sorry rant over

Really sorry about your car Flower. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to drive imagine not leaving any details.

Is the damage really bad? Hope it won't cost too much to fix. Is it worth going through the insurance?

No PAD for me today :o waiting to see how things pan out on Monday once some more things have left the account.

    Hi Poppyjoe,
Yea the damage is pretty bad, dont know how people can sleep at night knowing they have done damage like that without leaving any details! OH and i are trying to decide whether or not it is worth going through the insurance, luckily OH knows a few people within the car garages in the area so we might be able to get it done a bit cheaper.

Im sure these things are sent to try me! It wasnt long ago a learner driver went into the back of the car. Oh well onwards and upwards!!
