just off to bed, lovely PADers, but couldn't leave this one alone! brits, please explain - why the "extra" s on math? :D
My guess would be because Maths is short for mathematics, not mathematic (Which to my mind is why Math sounds silly) but I'm just guessing...:D

Faster Payments is finally working again Halifax peeps - at least it is on my online banking!

My PAD is £10 thanks to Halifax as I have two of their Reward accounts, so a free fiver for me every month from each of them, hurrah!

    Hi Folks,

Hoping its going to be a lovely day here today and all weekend. My dd is in the May Day Procession locally on Monday so I hope for her sake that the weather stays kind.

I have my first weigh in this morning. I'm a bit nervous to be honest, not sure how i have done. I'm a bit of a scale hopper so i hope i have lost more weight tan y scales indicate i have If you don't get a good loss on week 1 then when can it happen?

I have decided that i am keeping up with my Saturday VAT payment. My return is due at the end of May and I am already ahead thanks to PaD. I want to ensure i get it all paid off before i have to send my return back. So, deep breath...£500 :eek:to VAT today.

    Ouch...that hurt.

I keep having to say to myself that its not my money even though i really wish it was. But, and this really annoys me, we used to be given prepaid envelopes by the VAT to send the returns back. Now, we have to put a stamp on them. I mean, the CHEEK of it.

Rant over. Gotta go and get ready for my weigh in.

    Wish me luck.

Have a great day everyone x
