Hello folks
bucketing down with rain here today. Managed to drag myself round tesco yesterday so that I could have a day at home today and tomorrow to rest as feeling a bit tired. So going for NSD today and tomorrow - must sign up for the NSD thread as want to spend as little as possible this month. Went a bit mad last month buying a new fridge freezer, raised beds for doing our veg this year, clothes for a wedding in August and booking our trip to legoland/chessington which we missed last weekend due to me being ill. So a tightening of the belts needed this month.
£5 on my PAD today which brought my savings up to £30 so paid that off my asda card this morning. Have managed to pay 1% off my debt since 18/4/09 when I joined fresians DFBC thread. Not counting the new spends as they have been budgeted for elsewhere.
FAL - had my weigh in this morning I am ** stone and 3lbsso am planning to lose 1 stone by 4th June as thats when we go away for 10 days. 5 weeks to lose 14lb:eek:, so I will have to be really strict with myself as its nearly 3lb a week.

Hi Pad-ers!
Payday at last!!! How can such a short month have taken so long to get through?!
It's so good to be back here and able to make a PAD. I've cheated a bit though - DS had a jar full of coppers so I took it to the HSBC change counter machine (ooh, I love it!) and there was £4.77 in it. I was really surprised! I don't think DS will notice it's missing, so have paid it off my CC today, but I'll pay him back with a £5 note later in the month.
So PAD for me today = £4.77 (courtesy of DS!) + £1 from me = £5.77.
Will update the totals later.
Hope you're all having a good day.

Once inside the bank shortly after midnight, their efforts at disabling the security system got underway immediately.
The robbers, Who expected to find one or two large safes filled with
cash valuables, were surprised to see hundreds of smaller safes
throughout the bank.
The robbers cracked the first safe's combination, and inside they found only a small bowl of vanilla pudding.
As recorded on the bank's audio tape system, one robber said, At
least we'll have a bit to eat."
The robbers opened up a second safe, and it also contained nothing
but vanilla pudding. The process continued until all safes were opened.
They did not find one pound sterling, a diamond, or an ounce of gold.
Instead, all the safes contained covered bowls of pudding.
Disappointed, the robbers made a quiet exit, each leaving with
nothing more than a queasy, uncomfortably full stomach. The newspaper
